Located just a few steps from some of the oldest and most precious ruins in Rome, including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, offering 5 star service boasts charming views of the Campidoglio, Palatin Hill, Roman Forum, Venice Square. It's the only luxury residence in Rome which actually houses Roman ruins inside it. At the entrance, a passageway leads you to a Cryptoporticus, an exquisite stone gallery with engravings that can be traced back to 2,000 years ago. The five star service accommodations are carefully decorated in a modern style and are luxuriously furnished. On the roof terrace you can enjoy free snacks from 17:00 to 20:00. This inn is pet friendly.

Overall very good location. Service and staff also excellent. The upper levels and rooms seemed charming and the views from terrace very beautiful. Breakfast was quite good with plenty of options. However, the room I had was not deserving of the high price. I was located on the lower levels, where it was quite dark. The jacuzzi tub was old and did not work. The shower hardly contained by a half glass wall. This was a disappointment.

In our opinion this was the best place we stayed in all of Italy. The location couldn’t have been any better, the nicest staff and the top floor with the garden room was fit for a king. If you don’t stay in one of the two garden rooms they have two additional rooftop areas with views of the forum. The air conditioning was ice cold when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated and a pleasant surprise after walking for hours though the ruins.

Overall, I’d give this hotel a 4.75/5 and would definitely recommend it. I’d be very happy to stay here again. Location: 5/5. Centrally located to most of the major attractions. About a 5 min walk to the forum, 7 min to Colosseum. Trajan’s Market is practically next door. We didn’t have to look very hard to find good places for lunches and dinner either- there are tons of great restaurants in the neighborhood. Facilities: 4/5. The room itself was fine - a little dated, but clean and cozy. The ruins under the hotel are really fun to explore (you can even hang out down there and have drinks). The roof top terrace gives you a beautiful view of Rome and you can have breakfast or drinks up there as well. Service: 5+/5. Probably the best service I’ve ever received anywhere. The staff is so kind, friendly and caring. Even checkin was a nice experience (we were greeted with complementary tiramisu!). Honestly really exemplary.

The hotel welcomed us with tiramisu in the ancient ruins right behind the lobby area. Needless to say, I was thrilled. Ancient history is everywhere near the hotel, making it central to those visiting the ancient Roman areas. The neighborhood is also full of great restaurants and bars. Plus the hotel will arrange for a taxi if you want to venture further away. The staff was super helpful. We stayed in two rooms. One with a king size bed and huge bathroom that didn't have a view, but was really quiet. Our daughters--and tagalong boyfriend--stayed in a large room with a king bed and a sofa sleeper, along with a huge bathroom. The breakfast at this hotel might be the best we've had anywhere. The outdoor space overlooks the city and feels like a garden. It's so pretty. The food is all served to order and the staff is super friendly--simply lovely folks. What a great way to start a busy day! We highly recommend this beautiful to hotel with a great staff and a unique space!

The location of this hotel is superb as it is within easy walking distance of the Forum, Colesseum etc. Staff were very attentive and really went out of their way to ensure we were having a nice stay. Our room was beautifully furnished with a huge stone fireplace and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless with a powerful rainfall shower and complementary toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers were also provided. Breakfast was a delight - freshly cooked to order by efficient and personable staff. You could eat inside or on the terrace which has amazing views. The hotel has copious amounts of marble which is beautiful to look at but bounces sound around so guests who are returning to the hotel in the late evening can cause an unwitting disruption - bring ear plugs as a precaution if you are a light sleeper. Would jump at the chance to stay here again if we returned to Rome.

Amazing stay at a wonderful hotel made special by Linda! Great location to all tourist spots and an amazing staff who were always willing to help anytime of the hour. Room was very clean with amazing amenities, They especially took care of our kid. The rooftop restaurant had breathtaking views of the Roman Forums and the breakfast simply delicious. Will definitely be back later this year! Truly deserving a 5 star!

Beautiful hotel, very welcoming and friendly staff, located very close to the coliseum, palatine hill, and Roman forum. Just a short walk to Trevi fountain, and a little further from Vatican City but walkable or short cab ride! Breakfast was included and a highlight of each morning, sipping cappuccino on the rooftop terrace taking in breathtaking views of the city!!
