Alimandi Bed & Breakfast is a chic little place near the Vatican that has two fourstar sisters. A good idea – guests here get the informality of a small and cosy guest house with apartments for families if you want them, while its run by the hotel around the corner. You can get breakfast from the hotel, use the shuttle...

We had a very cheerful welcome and immediately some really useful tips about how to maximise our time and avoid queues which were invaluable to making sure our weekend went as smoothly as possible. After experiencing the high prices around we were pleased to find the hotel offering very reasonable drinks prices. The rooms were immaculate, the service excellent and...

Although I have not yet stayed at the Hotel Alimandi Vaticano, I have been communicating with the staff since October 2007 regarding my reservations for this April. I have had excellent and prompt service to all of my E-mails - I have not travelled to Rome before and have had a lot of questions ; to which I have been...

The Hotel Vaticano.. Booked 3 nights here based on the good reviews found on tripadvisor. Really enjoyed the stay at what I suppose is a reasonable rate given that it is Rome and is at the Vatican! I found the location great .. easy to find especially having just arrived from the airport or making your way around.. well the...

This hotel is in an excellent position if you want to visit the Vatican museums, however, be prepared for a 30/40 minute walk to get into central Rome. I booked the Hotel through it's own website i'd booked a superior room but when we arrived we were given a superior room with TWO king sized beds, not very romantic. When...

It is a great hotel. My wife and myself stayed for Easter and we loved it. It was a big room with a very comfortable bed and a big toilet recently renovated. The location is good, but not as good as to be near the Fontana di Trevi or Pantheon. I would certanly recommend it.

Is this the number one hotel n Rome? The answer is definitley not. The Good 1) The hotel is spotlessly clean 2) The staff are friendly 3) The bathroom goodies are great The Bad 1) The hotel must be on one of the nosiest steets in Rome - light sleepers avoid 2) The family room was very small, room for...

Dear Client, We thank you for your choosing us and your positive remarks about our Staff, cleaness room. We are sorry that your stay has been not perfect. Our location is a good thing because our clients have to cross the street to reach the Vatican Museum entrance and in this way they don't need a long queue but at...

I cannot understand why this hotel was No.1 on Trip Advisor for so long! The location isnt the best, OK it is opposite the Vatican but what about the other sites in Rome? The hotel itself was OK, we were greeted with coffee and cake and our room was available at 11am. However, the reception area was being redecorated which...

I booked to stay at this hotel in the Autumn of 2008 based on the very high rating given here. Due to unforeseen circumstances however, I had to cancel. Cancellation was duely confirmed by the hotel in November 2008. This I thought would be the end of the matter - but o, no! Just a few weeks ago I received...

In response to the below review, complaining about the booking system; I have recently booked a 5 night stay with the hotel for the beginning of June. After making the booking I was forced to amend the booking twice. I did this by e-mailing the hotel directly and both times I had a response within 5 minutes confirming the amendment...
