This is a decent value given the prime location very near Plaza de Republica. (Metro stop on the Red Line.) Staff was very helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable and nicely painted. Rome can overwhelm. It's helpful to be able to take mid-day breaks and this location supports that. Around the corner is the Target Restaurant which is an excellent option for... More

This place is great for staying in central Rome. Close to the train station, and all of the things we wanted to see were within walking distance. It is on the 3rd floor, so could be hard to find, but just look at the names on the buzzers for the buildings. Aircon worked well, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean.... More

Target Inn was my stay at Roma which was close to the metro station with a few minutes walk and 10 to 15 min walk to the Roma Termini where the Leonardo Express (Airport Express) stop. Although, it was quite difficult to walk on the rocky road for 15 min with luggage, we did walk from and to the Roma... More

We just needed a place to crash for a night in Rome, before our flight to the States. Since this place is so affordable, I didn't have a lot of high hopes but it's a lovely hotel and I would book a room here for a much longer stay too! Very close to the Termini train station (10 min walk).... More

Great small boutique hotel. Takes up one floor of the building. There are only 6 rooms in the hotel and yet has 24 hour concierge. So safe and secure. Rooms were comfortable and clean, so spacious and roomy. Very well equipped, air conditioned and had electric shutters to block out light and windows that could be opened for fresh air.... More

Everything about this hotel was ok. No real complaints but nothing to write home about. The room was smaller than you'd expect from the pictures. The window looked out onto a wall. The location was close to the train station so that was good. And the staff was nice. And the breakfast to your room was a good touch.

I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect but was the staff that made it so special. Rooms were perfectly clean and breakfast is simple but good. Thank you to the team to the great stay! I will come back for sure. :)

Stayed here for a few nights while we visited Rome. The room was modern and comfortable. Good wifi connection, sometimes can be slow. They send breakfast to your room every morning, so its quite nice to have something different. Location is great, access to Metro and Buses. You can even walk to Termini Station if you want. Around 15 mins... More

Extremely friendly and helpful staff in this small hotel. They really want you to enjoy your stay and are helpful with recommendations, reservations and directions. Room was spacious and clean. WiFi was a bit intermittent in the room, but fine in lobby; they said they would investigate. Very convenient; 3 minute walk to Metro, 10 minute walk to Termini train... More

I highly recomment the Target Inn in Rome. It is located only 5 walking minutes from Stazione Termini and in 5 days of our stay we never took a single bus because you can reach nearly anything by feet. Appart from the practical point of view the staff was that friendly and attentively that we felt comfortable from the second... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
