Bungalow was newly renovated we believe, as it was clean, new amenities, large shower, great aircon, good size (bigger than their chain in Venice). Pool was great! Water Zumba classes in the afternoon. But don’t get a room near the pool as it is loud. We requested a quiet area for our room location and we are grateful to have been granted this. HOWEVER, the walls are SO thin. Our neighbour were very easy to overhear. Bring ear plugs and hope for the best.. Wifi also did not reach into bungalow. Also, do not rely on the shuttle to the Vatican. We only found out on arrival it doesn’t even start till 10:30am on weekdays which renders it pointless. However, overall four stars as the public bus is right outside, great restaurant (Wild West steakhouse) and huge supermarket on the doorstep. Happy with the place and room overall.

Beautiful camping with nice accommodation. Convenient for visiting Rome and enjoying the outdoors. I had dinner at the restaurant for three nights and was very satisfied. Excellent dishes and excellent professionalism of the staff

We stayed here 2 nights while backpacking in Italy. It is a great campground. Ok size pitches for tents and rv's. Nice clean bathrooms with very roomy showers and plenty of hot water. No cost to use the pool.Bus stop right next to the campground takes you to the metro where you can then go to the Vatican, the Colosseo, etc... Supermarket accross the street from the campground is very convenient for backpackers. Very good value for the price. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this Village six times over the years. It is the only place I will stay in Rome! The location is just outside the city. There are three buses that run past every 10 minuets or so. All the buses will get you to a metro station, One bus will get you to near the Vatican but my advice is to just get off at the end of the first road and use the Metro - your 1.50 ticket is valid 90 mins for both. Your in the city in about 15 minuets. They also run a Shuttle bus. That Metro station is a 30 min walk away. Reception can be slow as some people have not paid in advance. I try to if there is the option, but the company website and a hostel site I used will take a small deposit - you pay the rest when you get there. I have always found the staff to be friendly and English speaking. Once your in the site is really pleasant. I had a Superior bungalow and it was spacious with its own bathroom facilities and Air-con. If you are sharing it's best to be very friendly with your friends as the bathroom sink area is not partitioned off from the rest of the room, and the shower only has a frosted door. Toilet is enclose however. They do other rooms - the chalet is best has multi rooms and a kitchen. Big supermarket opposite site if you want to cook! Site restaurant is great - really reasonable and great food. Pool is also nice. I love this site - it really is like camping in a city.

Nice place. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast was great, nice spread. One note: Although it is cheaper than most hotels, it is further from city centre than we anticipated. Quite costly for taxis and shuttle service, and bus / metro system we found a bit confusing so the options were limited for our large family (2 adults, 4 children).
