I'll bullet point my experiences to make it easier to read 1. The restaurant and market only open in the morning and evening so if you want lunch and don't have anything.. You're screwed. 2. The bag packers party all night so if you want to actually sleep.. Stay somewhere else. 3. We stayed in the static caravan with a... More

Thank you for your comment Zoe. Camping Tiber is a green oasis just out of caotic city center of Rome, you may select among different kind of accomodation from the 6 dorm in sharing tents to confortable chalets. By lunch time you may order sandwiches from the Reception or getting snacks from the vending machines. Or still stores and pizzerias... More

We stayed in a static bungalow. Basically two beds and a bathroom. Clean, more spacious than expected. Comfy bed with crisp cotton sheets and a quilt. BYO towels. Lots of shade trees with parakeets and less exotic sparrows and cicadas. Bar/restaurant served great pizza and salads. Wine and beer very good especially for the price. Breakfast including coffee for under... More

Stayed here around 2 years ago with friends after a tour around central Italy. It was clean and relaxing just what we needed after a hectic 2 weeks touring. The cabins were great and well equipped, we stocked up a the Spar before coming as had heard the onsite supermarket could be pricey but in fact wasn't too bad &... More

We stayed in their self contained cabin that had a mini kitchen, shower and toilet. We stayed 6-nights and really enjoyed it here. Unfortunately wifi is only really great next to the restaurant but they don't mind guests hanging around outside to get wifi. The pool area is nice and the shop carries most essential food items. The public transport... More

Camping Tiber is a wonderful place to spend your night in Roma! Great prices considering how nice the place is. Swimming pool, shop, restaurant, etc. is all good. Definitely one of the better campgrounds I’ve stayed at. We got the 2 bed with WC. Very clean and well maintained. If I’m back in Roma, I’d consider staying here again.

Took a long time to check in. I had a shared cabin to myself. I enjoyed my stay here. It took me back to holidays as a kid. Its a small camp, next to a fishing lake. The bar/restaurant area lacks no style & the food is ok & the beer is ok. Wifi isn't great, best place for it... More

We stayed at this campsite in August 2012. The pitches aren't marked - you just find a spot and pitch. There were plenty of shady areas, which was great as it was really hot. There is also a free pool, which was a welcome relief at the end of a hot day's sightseeing. There is a free bus from reception... More
