The hotel has a confy ambiance. the staff were very helpful. the room is wide ,well exposed, and well enlighted. Not far from the busy city thus the neighbourhood is very quiet. The breakfast offers good variety.

... I have ever stayed in. Room 201, but it felt like room 101. The good points. The hotel is well situated, walking distance from the main line station to the airport and the tram station to the centre of Rome. Only quibble was with the wifi - spotty and not entirely reliable...except in the lobby. Overly generous breakfast buffet in the morning, good location for tram/buses and for the railways. Will in all likelihood stay here again next time I'm in town.

We had a warm welcome and very helpful and courteous, friendly staff throughout our stay. The rooms are fairly spacious, light and airy, and everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Villa Rosa has been completely renovated. It provides a comfortable room on a quiet hillside near Trastevere Station. There is a direct train from the airport and a tram takes you to the heart of Rome in minutes. Trastevere and Testaccio, two of Rome's nicest areas, are a short walk. The breakfast is worthy of a 4* hotel. Best of... More

The Villa Rosa was the best hotel we've stayed in on our month in Europe. Gorgeous large beautifully tiled room with a view of the sea, nestled in the hills of the Amalfi coast. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast served on our balcony. We will come again.

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
