The only asset to Hotel Galli is its proximity to Roma Termini Station and the city of Roma. We stayed at this accommodation for two nights and price-wise it is reasonable at €70. However, rooms either have street frontage and knowing Rome which is quickly becoming a city which never sleeps, the traffic noise is unbearable; back rooms provide you... More

Galli hotel it is a small hotel with very small rooms but clean. The location is very good because it is very close to station Termini.!But at night there you should watch out sometimes. The receptionist doesn't speak very good english. When we asked about where we could ate she suggest us a very good tavern and cheap close to... More

Broken knob of the shower, No hot water on the first day, only 1 channel, hard mattress, small pillows, blood stain in the linen, And the worst one was the female owner. at first she is friendly but later on huh no comment with her. But the young boy in the reception was very helpful and polite. The only good... More

... Given the photos posted. The staff are very friendly and the location is good, conveniently located near the Termini train station, metro and bus terminals. However the surrounding area is a little noisy, the bathrooms are below standard and wifi poor.

My husband and I just returned from a cruise leaving out of Rome. We wanted to stay in a hotel close to Termini Train Station. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Hotel Galli. When we landed in Rome, we took the Terravision bus (4 Euros) from the Rome airport straight to the Termini Station. Perfect idea... More

Despite its two star rating, the hotel was clean and the good size room had every facility we required. The location is very good situated to the north of termini station (the better side) about 150 metres, here there are plenty of bars and some good restaurants offering proper Italian food ,not the touristy crap that is dominant towards the... A good clean hotel near the Roma Termini station. It's a 2-3 minutes walk from the station and has lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. This hotel is at the second floor and recommended for light travellers coz as mentioned by other visitors, it has a very tiny elevator, good for one person with one luggage only. it was... More

This is a really good hotel to stay at if you need to be near the Termini train station. It is very safe because the door to the street is always closed and you need to buzz in to enter. Plus you need to give back your keys every time you leave the hotel which is good because this means... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
