Just returned from Le suite di via ottaviano 3rd December and we had a fabulous time. The accommodation is wonderful and the location superb being very close to both the vatican and only two blocks from the metro. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated in reds and golds with gorgeous light fittings and accesories. There was a full size...

European hotels often don't cater to American tastes, but this one fit us superbly. Sparkling clean, beautiflly decorated, with impressively soundproofed windows, and with spacious bathrooms with jaccuzi tubs (wonderful after a long day of hiking around the city). The location is marvelous: literally five minutes to St Peters by foot, in a neighborood with plenty of restaurants, shops, fastfood...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The owner organised taxis from and to the airport, although we knew we had to pay 40 euros each way, and was there to greet us when we arrived at 1am. He did not charge us for our use of the mini-bar which was about 7...

stayed at the suites July 31-august 2nd. This place is a 5 minute walk from st peters square- you can see the papal residence from your window. Location is AWESOME! However, slightly noisy at night since it is on busy street. The rooms are very clean and nice- bathroom with jet tub. Telephone in room did not work. Rememeber, you...

My husband and i stayed here for a wedding anniversary break. I thought La Suite was lovely - really enjoyed our stay. The room decor was great, perfectly clean and lovely little bathroom. Given the price of 80 pounds per night i thought it was perfect and so much better than staying in the more tourist areas. And at night...

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this little hotel--essentially an apartment suite turned into a small hotel in a residential/commercial building a couple of blocks from the Vatican. The room was small but nicely appointed and felt warm--many of the other hotels we stayed in had larger rooms but felt "cold". The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. It...

we stayed three nights and loved it. Abolutely spotless, you could eat your dinner of the floor. The bed was fantastically comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was fab! It is really well located, close to the ottaviano metro station and to St Peters and the Vatican museums. we were a bit worried about the breakfast having read the other reviews,...

Well, what can I say, I was simply shocked at most reviews when using TripAdvisor to find a decent place to stay in Rome last month. Unless I was prepared to fork out a small fortune for a decent place, most 3 & 4 star hotels priced at a reasonable price seemed to have reviews warning me to stay away....

The room was beautiful and very close to the vatican and metro. Very clean and well maintained. Adequate continental breakfast accross the street, but not before 8 am. However, be aware that the owners English is limited and that he does not stay on site, so you MUST make arrangements so that he will be at the facility when you...

The apartment was cool, clean and quiet. The decor was lovely and the king size bed very comfortable. The jacuzzi shower just has to be experienced. My room was a double but they also had bunk beds in there if you were travelling with children. They even have a fridge in the room with reasonably priced soft drinks, wine &...

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
