In the heart of the papal and aristocratic Rome, the D.O.M is a brand new luxury hotel, set in a 17th Century aristocratic palace. Its position in Via Giulia, one of the most iconic streets of the city centre, is very convenient between Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Trastevere e San Pietro. The hotel D.O.M is the perfect pick for those who want to savour the architectural beauty and the artistic treasures of the rive droite of Rome, far from the mainstream tourist routes. The hotel emanates the atmosphere of an aristocratic household, a unique combination of sacredness and luxury: the ambience is enriched by numerous design pieces and works of art. In the elegant restaurant the original Andy Wharol "Ladies and Gentleman" serigraphs will surely catch the eye of the guests. The cocktail bar, cosy and small, reminds the old American speakeasy bars. The 18 rooms and suites - all overlooking Via Giulia - offer absolute comfort: they combine contemporary touches, among which design vases and pictures and paintings by various artists, with authentic period details, such as white wood coffered ceilings and decorative brick walls. Some have a living room area, mirror TVs, cashmere and silk carpets. The hotel's spectacular roof terrace, which smells of rosemary and lemon, recalls the Dolce Vita times: guest will be able to enjoy an aperitif or to read one of the hotel's library books in perfect relax admiring the roofs and the churches in the Regola borough, facing the green hill of Gianicolo and overlooking the ancient Roman archaeological site of 'Stabula Augusti'.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Rome. While not the most central, It is perfect if you are planning to explore Vatican City and Travestere and is pretty easy access with some walking to all of the Rome tourist spots. The room itself was beautiful. We stayed in a Triple Junior Suite which is perfect for two solo travelers or a family as it is in fact two separate private bedrooms/bathrooms (which is not clear on the website). My only observation of the hotel is that while it is beautifully redone, you can easily tell that attention to detail was not taken by the construction firm as there were lose fittings in both of our showers, lose faucet plates and the door trim wasn't secured to the door frame very well. They really could benefit from new soundproofing windows as the garbage trucks come by each morning and dump the glass bottles from the restaurants and bars below at 8am or earlier but other than that, noise was really not an issue. The rooftop bar/restuarnt was very nice but a sterile environment while we were there which could be spruced up with some more greenery or decor (compared to other hotel rooftops in the area) These are all minor things which not prevent me from enjoying this hotel again. If you are staying in Rome and looking to be closer to the Vatican or Travestere, I highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful location in the center of Roma with stunning rooms and a hidden roof top bar. We stayed for 4 days and the hotel accommodated several tours for us. Cocktails at night on the roof were amazing and breakfast served every day was five star.

Great location near the River on Via Giulia. Easy walk to lots of cute shops and restuarants in the winding streets. Just a few minutes walk to Piazza Navona. There is a secure public parking garage next door, so if you are driving this is convenient. The rooms are nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable and the amenities are Acqua de Parma (nice!). The breakfast was so-so, even though they made their own bread. Perhaps it is better when the buffet is permitted (before covid restrictions). Although the staff were nice and helpful, I never felt really welcomed to the hotel in a genuine way. It felt like the staff was going through the motions. Nothing wrong with efficiency – I had just been at two other hotels that were super-friendly in comparison. Overall, I would recommend and would even stay there again myself.

We stayed at some nice hotels around Italy for a 3 week trip. This was our favorite hotel. The room was beautiful, the staff was very attentive and the location is excellent. The brick walls in the room gave it tons of character and the quality of the modern construction was museum level.

DOM Hotel exceeded our expectations at every step. From their quick responses and helpful planning in advance of our visit lining up airport transfer and Vatican Tour Guide, to the end of the trip where they helped forward a bag of laundry we accidentally left behind, the service and hospitality was superlative. Lovely room, strong A/C, comfy bed, strong Wifi, modern spacious bathroom, delicious breakfast and rooftop bar... can't say enough about our visit. Terrific location within easy walking distance of Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore & more, but also on a quiet, safe, clean street. So glad we chose DOM Hotel.
