We had a last minute deal here with my friend. Should have read the reviews before we fell for the good price - this hotel is on the outskirts of Rome, in not the nicest surroundings, let alone the journey you have to take to every attractions. No kettle in the room, funny smell in the hallway, and the water temp was dropping throughout our stay. Wouldn't recommend nor stay here again.
Adequate swimming pool area, but don’t be fooled by the pictures. The breakfast is meagre and isn’t well maintained. The croissants are dry and the egg was cold. Variety is lacking and underwhelming. The rooms are ok and generally clean, but there isn’t regular hot water despite complaining about it. The air conditioning is uncontrollable despite an old unit on the wall. Sometimes it is fine and other times not. The card for electricity/light does nothing and is just a piece of floppy card. The welcome was practically non-existent. The majority of staff don’t care about customer service. Overall the advertising is not what you will get. Trust the reviews. This is an adequate hotel for a place to stay, but don’t come for service or quality.
The woman in in thee breakfast room always is in bad mood. At dinner time I went to ask for a opener wine because had a Coke to open and the waiter did not want to lend me an opener...I broke a nail trying to do it.Nevertheless I love Rome with or without opener.
On arrival to the Hotel I spoke with the guy on reception asking to check in. He just said "Passport" nothing else I wanted to pull him over the desk. The bar was never open The place smelt like an old peoples home (must say it was clean though) After a long day of walking around Rome I decided to stay in the hotel for the night and eat in there. Basic food. It was cheaper to eat in Rome surrounded by amazing sites. Quite gutted really. I have also written to the hotel however I do not expect a reply.
I have stayed in better Premier Inns than this hotel!! During our stay there were several school parties in the hotel. It was more like staying in a youth hostel with teenagers running around slamming doors etc until the early hours of the morning. This hotel is also claiming to be close to the city centre. It is not it's a bus and train ride away. Placed in the middle of a housing estate with no local restaurants nearby. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
