The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Location was perfect. Lots of restaurants walking distance. Shops all on Trastevere Rd too. 3 busses right there to take you just about anywhere. Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was excellent. The highlight was 8th floor restaurant and bar. Not a lot of tables good to make a reservation. The menu isn't extensive but the food was great . The table near us ordered a burger and it looked great.
Along my journey through Italy I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel when I was in Rome. Our rooms were ready promptly at check in. Valery helped us through the process and couldn't have been sweeter if she tried. She answered every question, laughed with us, and had a great attitude. She also gave us a GREAT recommendation for a restaurant in the neighborhood specifically to enjoy all four classic Roman pastas. She also called ahead and reserved us a table. I could not be happier with the recommendation. It was absolutely delicious. Excellent care from Valery. The Hotel itself is very well located in the hip Trastevere district. It's a fun hip neighborhood that offers a taste of culture other than the "hur dur Colosseum" stuff. Any complaints about location are either incapable of navigating a city or are only interested in the basic Roman historical stuff. There is more to Rome than that. It's a bustling city with many boroughs that offer a glimpse of *living* Roman culture. For instance, we were able to walk to an awesome craft brewery nearby, see street markets, and enjoy awesome food within 10 minutes. And the whole walk was a pleasure. Their rooftop bar is beautiful and the drinks are actually some of the best we had on our whole journey. The bartenders were super cool, especially the lady who helped us on our last night. We walked in very late, right before closing, but she pleasantly made our drinks and chatted with us. If you do need to go somewhere outside of walking distance they are able to call you a local taxi. Each time we asked them to a cab was in front of the hotel within five minutes. Just want to mention one last time just how awesome Valery made our experience. Hotel's these days tend not to care as much about helping guests enjoy the city around them. Valery made sure we did!…
The staff is awesome. They go out of their way to ensure that your stay and your time in Rome is all that you hoped it would be. Quick cab or bus ride to all major sites. Beautiful spa. Good breakfast. Suites are well priced. Nice rooms. The highlight is their staff though. They go above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed on me. Really happy with our hotel choice.
This hotel is the perfect stop to visit Rome, visited in March 2022 all the staff were so helpful, even when asking the same questions multiple times, they must say the same answers thousands of times but they were great at helping us first timers to Rome. The Rome was clean and had everything you would need, I loved the bathroom! Felt very Italian! The breakfast was ok, the one area they could improve on, could have had some more options but as we were packing so much into our trip we didn’t mind too much not having a big breakfast. The Spa is out of this world! My husband and I love going to spas and this has to one the best ever! You choose a room (we went for Maya spa) and it’s all yours for couple of hours, the theme/jacuzzi pool/showers/saunas etc was amazing! A visit is a must! There is a tram stop right outside the hotel so it’s so easy to get to the centre of Rome (10 mins on tram) or walk to see the sights for about 40 mins. Being in the Travestere area meant the best place for restaurants! Just 10 min walk and there’s lots to choose from, all good food! Overall we loved Rome and loved this hotel! We will be back!…
The location was perfect for us. Across from the tram and close to the Trestevere Square. The lady at the front desk could not have been nice and professional. She was terrific. The breakfast was easily worth the extra 10 Euros. The room was spotless and well maintained.
We had an amazing evening on the 8th floor rooftop bar, the staff were so friendly and really made our night. The food was also incredible! Even though we were running late due to a delay, the staff updated the booking for us and couldn't have been nicer.
I travel around 75% of the time for work in the US, and the service and friendliness we received at Trilussa Palce could be a text book lesson for many US hotels. The staff at Trilussa communicated with us promptly before check in, walked us to our room at check in to confirm the room met our expectations, and were overly friendly on helping us navigate Rome. Carolina helped us at both check in and check out and was extremely friendly. The other team members went above and beyond to answer questions, help us book meals, and offered warm greetings every time we returned to the hotel. Thank you Trilussa for making this trip so memorable!
We were a bit unsure if this hotel was a bit far out to the tourist places, but this actually made it even nicer. A very clean and modern hotel. Really simple to get to from FCO airport by train and tram, a 2 stop tram ride to the Trastevere Station and a 10 min tram ride to Venezia Piazza. Perfect to come and go when it suits you as run until after midnight, with restaurants close by (you can even jump on the tram to get closer but less than a 10min walk) We booked the Moon Spa which was totally amazing, especially having it all to yourself. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. They answered our 101 questions with a smile. The only thing that might affect your sleep is the traffic so if you're a light sleeper, maybe request a room at the back of hotel. Oh and the rooftop bar was closed for our stay but weren't advised of this, so check before if that's a reason you're staying there. All in all lovely and would stay there again for sure.…
This is a very nice hotel with an extremely accomodating staff! We stayed in a suite with a king bed and a couch that converted into a bunkbed. The room had a nice small balcony. It was very clean, had a small mini-bar, and was roomy. It is very close to the tram. It is close to a multitude of restaurants. The hotel itself has a bar and restaurant. We did not eat there, however, it appeared very nice. There is, also, a rooftop bar that was not open during our stay but had a nice view. Housekeeping was great and helpful! I cannot say enough about the hotel staff as a whole, they really were exceptional!!!
We have stayed here before but we were so lucky to get a room at the Trilussa Palace Hotel again over Easter. The staff make it extra special - From Carolina and her team on reception to the great breakfast team, everyone is super helpful and friendly. Our room was great - very spacious, very clean and we had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the evening. The hotel is ideally located - 5 minutes by no8 tram into Trastevere, but it’s also a pleasant walk if you prefer. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning.
