Had the best sleep here. Quite, comfortable and clean. Great location, elegant five storey hotel near the train station. The staff at the front desk most friendly and helpful. We arrived at 10 am and they gave us an early check-in. Price included breakfast. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th floor so we had good views. It was only a 25-30 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain with many other beautiful sites on the way. There is a subway station only a few blocks away so other sites are easily accessible. The concierge recommended a restaurant that was maybe... More

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, good location for city centre. And very reasonably priced. While the rooms are small, they are fairly nice (mine had a small balcony which was great for extra ventilation). Its a place to sleep and have breakfast - you aren't visiting Rome to sit in a hotel room - you're here to explore !

The Lux hotel was everything and more! My friend and I went to Rome not knowing what to expect being our first time there. The Lux had a wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms and great location. Everything a person could hope for. We would have to say there's not one negative about the Lux.

We arrived in Rome and this hotel is in walking distance to Termini. The entrance and reception look great, but unfortunately the room was unacceptable. We had prebooked so we were stuck to the hotel. Some examples: The bathroom shower stall entry was 1 foot, the refrigerator door could not open all the way as it hit the bed and... More

Our stay was very good due to the kindness of the staff and of the owner...good coffee during the breakfast, Luigi that will charm you with his knowledge of the amazing beautiful city that Rome is. Good position and quiet during the night.

This has potential to be a nice enough hotel but a couple of bits lets it down... There is only wifi in the lobby which is a bit annoying so everyone ends up in the lobby and you don't get wifi in the rooms. Lucky the lobby is quite big with loads of sofas. The staff at reception are helpful... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
