A great hotel situated about 5 minuets walk away from the coliseum. Other attractions were also very close within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. We had a very clean room with a bath and a powerful shower. The only negatives were there was hardly any wardrobe space we were two adults staying for... More

I had a single room in the Hotel Romano and it was perfect for solo travel. The room itself had a wardrobe, a desk, a fridge (with minibar) and a comfortable single bed. The bathroom was a good size for Rome with a great shower that was always hot and powerful. Only downside is the noise levels - if you... More

Everything is small from the lobby, to the elevator to the room but it is very clean and nicely decorated and location is wonderful. The service is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel, particularly if would too be near the colosseum and forum.

I stayed in a single room for couple of nights and have to say had a very nice stay! The location has to be the biggest compliment to the place, as everything is so convenient! The hotel doesn't do breakfast though, which did not disturb me at all, as I'm not the breakfast fan personally anyway. For the coffee and... More

Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to Colosseo, 10 mins walk to Piazza Venezia. Tidy and clean room, suitable for solo travelers and couples. However, the room is easy to hear the next room guest's talking.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel in June for 3 nights on our first trip to Rome and we wish we had been staying longer. We had booked the superior room with the balcony overlooking the Roman Forum and what a view it was to wake up to in the mornings! The staff were all so friendly... More

Great location...we saw some of the Forum from our window!! The room is small, but you're on vacation/holiday and shouldn't be spending time in your room!! AC works great and the place was clean. It can be a bit noisy at night but wasn't a real issue since we used a white noise app at bedtime. Wonderful place and staff... More

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Is this is really a 2* hotel? I should be higher. Excellent location, easy to find from the metro. No need for taxi to the airport. 2 stops on the metro 3 min away and a direct train from termini station to the airport. Clean rooms and nice decor. Helpful English speaking staff.... More

This hotel is a lovely little find in the heart of Ancient Rome, literally 2 minutes from the forum and colosseum, the price is really good for the size of the room, make sure you book a room with a balcony for a view across the forum, staff there are very friendly, nice restaurants and snack bars near by at...
