We stayed 4 nights in the Hotel Felice, we find friendly staff, excellent location and a very good triple room. The location was excellent for us, we walk everywere, about 10 minutes walk from Termini station. Susan at the reception desk was very helpfull.

This was an excellent hotel for our family trip in Rome. The price was excellent and the location super. Our family room was modern, and the bathroom very clean. San Lorenzo si a real roman area with good and cheap restaurant and pizzeria. The hotel was comfortable, we wants to stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights in this budget hotel in Rome's downtown. With my wife we rent a cozy double room through Booking and we were satisfied. Clean and comfort bathroom, clean and modern room. The location is perfect for walking through to the city center. About 5 minutes walk from the central train station Termini.

the room we stayed in was too far away from the wifi for connection ! the city centre is a long walk from the hotel through the train station which can get terribly dodgy at night! the hotel room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided! the free breakfast provided is a coffee and croissant from a shop next door.... first i was afraid of non english speaking staff, but it was ok. Even if they speak in italian they understand what you want and they are paying attention. Italian breakfast...if you need more food you can buy it! The room is small but clean and nice. In the morning the hotel is a little bit noisy but it was... More

I cant explain the 4stars this hotel has on tripadvisor. We had a very bad experience in this hotel if you wanna call it like that. We thought we had a private bathroom but actually in the whole floor there's just one bathroom and one shower shared between like 10 rooms. Horrible. And then there's the breakfast thing that they... Bad room, only a bed, no closet no wifi no nothing. Breakfast? No...coffee no..reception ok, garden dirty , bathroom impossible , don't go there it is a disaster for a long time stay. Just don't go here you will be disappointed . No words to describe the only positive thing is the neighborhood, San Lorenzo

We visited Rome as family in August and stay at Hotel Felice for 5 nights. Firstly positives - Great location, San Lorenzo is one of the nicer neighborhoods. Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars near the hotel. I would highly recommend nearby 'I. Fratelli' for evening meals, a friendly family-run place with delicious proper Italian food and not expensive. It... More

Overall, our experience was good here. The location is great for the price and the staff was friendly. BUT...some things to be aware of. There was no AC in our room, as there was supposed to be via the online description. Thankfully, we had a large window we could open for airflow, but the streets surrounding us were always noisy.... Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
