I cant explain the 4stars this hotel has on tripadvisor. We had a very bad experience in this hotel if you wanna call it like that. We thought we had a private bathroom but actually in the whole floor there's just one bathroom and one shower shared between like 10 rooms. Horrible. And then there's the breakfast thing that they... Bad room, only a bed, no closet no wifi no nothing. Breakfast? No...coffee no..reception ok, garden dirty , bathroom impossible , don't go there it is a disaster for a long time stay. Just don't go here you will be disappointed . No words to describe the only positive thing is the neighborhood, San Lorenzo

We visited Rome as family in August and stay at Hotel Felice for 5 nights. Firstly positives - Great location, San Lorenzo is one of the nicer neighborhoods. Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars near the hotel. I would highly recommend nearby 'I. Fratelli' for evening meals, a friendly family-run place with delicious proper Italian food and not expensive. It... More

Overall, our experience was good here. The location is great for the price and the staff was friendly. BUT...some things to be aware of. There was no AC in our room, as there was supposed to be via the online description. Thankfully, we had a large window we could open for airflow, but the streets surrounding us were always noisy.... I went there with my girlfriend last spring. The rooms were cosy, warm enough and satisfying clean. The breakfast was nice and romantic,in a small cantine across the street in a park, although it was nothing special(a coffee and a croissant). BUT the staff was absolutely awful!!The didn't speak English AT ALL and were unable to communicate with! There was only a man named... More

We enjoyed the location, there are various public transportation stations available nearby and Termini is just a short pleasant walk away. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms were comfortbale and clean. There was no problem to communicate with the staff in English.

Reserved a family room with a private bathroom for two nights so we could have a place to rest after we arrived from U.S. in the early morning and waited to check into our airbnb apartment. I made the reservation online and included a note with the reservation to let them know we would actually be arriving early in the... More

Luggage was stolen the day of checkout, the only English speaking employee told me "Not my problem". The staff was the rudest and least helpful group of employees I've ever encountered. There are dozens of beautiful hotels in the area, don't waste your time here. Absolutely awful!

We stayed here last week for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good area within walking distance from the sights and easily accessible to the main termini and close to main bus routes. The hotel is basic but adequate. The beds are pretty uncomfortable sadly but after a day of seeing the sights we slept ok on them. Our... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
