Stayed in one of their impeccably furnished singles. While small, everything one could need is present, including an electric tea kettle (no coffee or tea were provided--but I always travel with my own green tea). Rooftop area is charming and the team is extraordinary. Breakfast was hearty. Would definitely stay here again, but I would pay for a larger room.

Dear guest, thank you for your kind review. We are sorry you had a small room, our hotel is ancient and historical and some rooms are very big and others aren't. We'll do our best to give you a bigger room next time you come to our hotel! Kindest regards

The location of the hotel is very good, close to subway stations Barberini and Spagna, walking distances to the shopping at spanish steps as well as trevi fountain. The staff are friendly and always there to assist with our queries, particularly Adele and the rest of the guys. One of the best experience in...

We had a group of 20 friends visiting Rome for 5 days before getting on a cruise. We want a nice but not too expensive hotel to stay near the Spanish Steps and Hotel Cecil fits our criteria perfectly. Not only the location is great, everyone works over there is extremely nice and helpful. We arrived early in the morning...

Hotel Cecil is a boutique hotel situated in the centre of the famous Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The hotel has been in the family for 300 years and has maintained its authenticity with updates and renovations over the years. As we were traveling on our anniversary the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger room overlooking...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
