I was very excited to visit Rome Life Hotel for my honeymoon. Hotel was booked through Agoda booking in February 2020 for a April 2020 trip, yes it was booked "non-refundable". The pandemic hit, our flights were cancelled by the airline, we had no way to get to Italy from Chicago, USA. After emailing Agoda, they reached out to Rome Life on our behalf. They even received an email that Rome Life hotel was not operating as normal, and communications were delayed due to the pandemic. The response received from Rome Life was refusal to give a refund. I understand the original booking was "non-refundable", however, with the circumstances I am appalled that there was not an understanding of a global pandemic. Very disappointing customer service during these difficult times.

fantastic little boutique hotel located in a really convenient part of town. The rooms themselves were nicely decorated with a good entertainment system. There are some reviews on here saying that the room was small, which I didn't find to be true. There was sufficient space to store the baggage and move around the room. The corridors and breakfast room have a quaint lay-out to them and reminded me of the Woody Allen film Sleeper which adds to the hotels character !!! The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. I am a vegetarian and there was more than enough for me. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and our first day, helped us with our bearings and directions around the city. In terms of location, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from the Trevi Fountain which is the liveliest part of Rome in the evenings. The Colleseum and the Palantine Hill area is about 15 minutes walk away in the other direction. The street the hotel is on is really pretty, with a few cafes / restaurants to eat at. There is a metro station at the end of the street , but because the hotel was so centrally located, we didn't need to use it.

We stayed here for a week and this hotel has a lot to like, from its location not far from the Coliseum, the comfortable rooms, and the staff. The free cell phone in the room was also a nice touch. On the minus side, this hotel was not as well equipped for business travellers or to get work done: there wasn't a desk in the room, and none of the common areas had sunlight or were well suited to working in for a long period (there is a computer with a printer though). Overall I'd recommend this mainly for leisure travellers and perhaps for shorter stays or for people who don't spend much time in their hotels. I also feel I must give a special mention of the breakfast at this hotel, which is included with the cost and was excellent. There was cake (including vegan!), an espresso machine, yogurt, several different kinds of cheese and bread, grilled vegetables, multiple kinds of fruit and fruit salad... all very good. The hours it was served at were also good (I think 7am to 10:30am) and allowed sleeping in a bit!

We booked and stayed at Rome life hotel as part of a city break. The hotel is very central in Rome and close to many of the main attractions that Rome has to offer. Easily accessed from Termini Station being a 10 minute walk. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and as we arrived early morning and before our room was ready we were able to leave our luggage after check in and come back later . We had a top floor room which was easily accessed as the elevator was directly opposite our room. An added bonus for me being a smoker was that we had access to an outdoor roof top lounge area directly outside our room. There was also an ice machine directly outside the room and this would be very useful if using the roof top area during summer months. The room itself was immaculately clean with a large king bed which was very comfortable. Fitted wardrobe which contained a safety deposit box . Vanity table. TV. Full length mirror. Bedside lockers with over head bed lighting and lamps. air conditioning and a fridge which was filled with complimentary soft drinks water a a small amount of snacks ... this was a lovely touch. Tea and coffee making facility with a variety of teas and coffee The bathroom contained a bath with over head shower WC and bidet . Sink and large vanity area and a clean towel change every morning. The buffet breakfast served downstairs was also very good with a large selection of produce Juices, cereals, breads, meats and typical continental breakfast supplies. The waiter and waitress were very welcoming and each morning the waiter made us a beautiful italian cappuccino. Another added bonus which proved to be very handy was that the hotel supplied us with a Samsung phone as standard, that you can take with you around rome and use for maps etc which also included free international calls . All in all we found the hotel to be excellent in every way and would definitely stay here again if and when we go back to Rome. There are lots of many lovely restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Many thanks Rome life hotel

We booked this as part of a Jet2 Holiday and we really pleased. Great location, convenient for fab shops and the City Sightseeing terminal. We walked to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Nice restaurants nearby and the sister hotel, called Rome Times is just around the corner. Only drawback was the bar at Rome Life was closed in the evenings, so we were directed to Rome Times and enjoyed brilliant glass of prosecco and free nibbles which were home made and delicious. Lovely staff in both hotels. Really good breakfast and quiet comfortable room. No complaints.
