My daughter and I stayed here for a week in August and cannot fault this hotel at all. Fabulous location near all locations safe area with great restaurants in walking distance. Giacomo at breakfast made amazing cappuccinos for us every day and all staff friendly welcoming and happy to help. Special mention must go to Alessandro who was brilliant took time to chat and helped us immeasurably with his knowledge of Rome and tips of where to go and he makes fabulous cocktails on the Roof terrace every night!
Giacomo at breakfast went about and beyond. Everyone has been super nice and helpful. They exceed our expectations. When we needed a cab, it was here in minutes. Directions to sights given clearly and maps provided.
Good location, with major sights within easy walking distance. Good a/c in the rooms, but poor cleanliness. Had to speak to front desk multiple times about cleaning issues. Besides the air conditioning, breakfast was the highlight of our stay there. Well done buffet with espresso and cappucino available from Giacomo (and not from a fully automated machine). Would not stay there again.
Just returned from a 4 night stay at Rome life Hotel & could not fault it. We had one of our best weekend breaks here to date. All Staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful with Alessandro providing us with the most amazing cocktails on the rooftop terrace bar & taking the time to chat with us & informing us of all Rome has to offer. Breakfast was outstanding as was our evening meal on one of our nights. The hotel is immaculate, modern & has the most amazing air conditioning! Rome life hotel definitely worthy of its 4 stars & would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting Rome. A Stunning city with lots to offer! Thank you everyone @ Rome life hotel for giving us a fabulous, memorable weekend! We will return again! Karen & John McCulloch (Scotland)
Due to flight strike we had to book this hotel last minute, and all that was offered was prepaid options. When we arrived, we saw that we had booked the right date, but the wrong month. The reception lady told us that we could stay at their sister hotel around the corner. She was not able to fix the refund (she said), but we could fix it through our booking site the next day. So we tried, Hotels.com called the hotel twice, but they denied cancel and refund. I also tried to send them a mail, but they didn't even bother to answer me. Usually people try to help eachother when errors occur, but not Rome Life Hotel. As for the quality of the rooms, I can't say. But the reception was small and dark with no sofa or chairs. From the reception there was stairs - probably to the rooms.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Everything is within 10 to 25 minute walk. The Vatican is an hour away, we were supposed to catch a taxi but there was a National strike. We ended up catching the Metro, which is 8-10 minute walk away and we got to Vatican City pretty quickly. We managed to walk back from the Vatican within 58 minutes. The staff at front desk was helpful and told us which bus to catch but we found the metro to be a better option. There are restaurants available locally and the main Street behind the hotel has plenty of shopping available. Breakfast was nice and varied (the scrambled eggs were delicious). Giacomo at the breakfast buffet was very friendly and helpful and made delicious Cappuccino’s every morning. We had 2 rooms and they were both clean and bathroom areas clean too. We thought the rooms might be a bit bigger but we had no complaints as there was plenty of space and storage. The only gripe was that the tv hardly worked, 1 or 2 channels ( I know we didn’t go to Rome to watch TV but in the evening when unwinding there wasn’t much choice to mindlessly flick). We had issues with the sink and shower tray drainage but once reported to front desk, the maintenance team came very quickly. Rooms have a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We used the rooftop bar. Can’t remember the barman’s name but he was very nice and friendly and made lovely cocktails. All staff from front desk to the bell men were extremely helpful and polite and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. Can’t fault it at all.…
We stayed for 5 nights for our 30th anniversary and would definitely recommend this hotel as being well placed to visit all the attractions all within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean and had good amenities. Food was lovely, had lunch and dinner and good choice at breakfast and the cappuccinos are worth a mention. Lovely roof top bar with good selection of drinks and cocktails - the capri spritz is delicious. All staff were great but special mention to Alessandro in the rooftop bar who was so friendly and looked after us so well. Thank you to all at Rome Life
We stayed at the hotel on our trip to Rome. The hotel is clean and well located. The staff was nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and we specially appreciate Giacomo's service, he was very friendly and ready to accommodate any food request. Excellent cappuccinos! We highly recommend this hotel, and we will stay there again!
Can’t fault most of the hotel and the only reason they didn’t get a 5 star is because of the poor front desk service at check out. Asking for help after a upsetting pick pocketing experience they were incredibly unhelpful and rude. The front desk at that time let the team down.
This hotel is perfect, it is close to all sightseeing places all within a 15 minute walk so there is no extra transport costs required. The room was clean, spacious and modern, the free to use mobile is a nice touch to the room. The rooftop bar is great, this is offers cocktails, snacks and music. The breakfast is also brilliant with a great choice of cooked and continental options, the cherry tart was great! We also recommend a cappuccino at breakfast and believe this is the best way to start your day!
