We stayed here during our first visit to Rome in April 14. Looking for an economy hotel we did a lot of research on area, and the hotel, so that we could cover maximum grounds through public transportation, and also something which was not too far away. We decided to stay here after reading the positive reviews, and it being...

Only minutes walk from Rome Termini station. Do ask for directions as hard to find. End of the street with a flag top of the door. Ring bell marked hotel you'll be let in. Very friendly helpful staff. Few steps to lift which is small. Security to each floor so very safe. Rooms clean, pillows flat but bed quite good....

On a pleasant street close to the main Termini Station with a market outside on some days. The room was a good size with a clean, functioning bathroom. Aircon was very good, but the wifi was intermittent. Staff were very friendly and English speaking. Breakfast was not to our taste, but for most would have been fine. Cereal, fruit juice,...

Great value for money, lovely big room, bathroom fresh and clean and functional, soap and small amenities provided, generous with 3 sized towels per person. Service very friendly and always obliging. Breakfast not for us, but probably good for most travelers - fruit yoghurt, cornflakes, pastries, great coffee. (We prefer more natural food with no sugar). No tea and coffee...

A lovely, well managed hotel close to Termini. Better value than another hotel we stayed in nearby. Breakfast was adequate for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable, quiet and airconditioned. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. Not well sign posted from the street but easy to find if you look at the signs on the...

We stayed for a few days while visiting Rome for the first time. The property was very clean and the rooms were average size. We had a door that opened up onto a little patio which let in a little cool breeze which was nice. Surprisingly being extremely close to the Termini it was pretty peaceful and we felt safe....

This cool hotel is on a modest street near Termini. There is only a single brass plaque to advertise its presence, you could walk past and not notice it. Step inside and there is excellent hospitality from thoughtful staff, and very clean, comfortable, well-appointed rooms. It is family-run, great value for money, there is free wifi, and a good breakfast...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
