We stayed for 5 nights in June. Communication with Beatrice before check in and during our stay was excellent, she was very friendly and even provided us with lots of maps for sightseeing and information. The room itself was clean and big, toiletries and towels...More
The staff was wonderful. After checking in, they spent time with my husband advising the best way to see what we wanted. The room was perfect and the hotel was centrally located. The elevator was an added benefit. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully laid...More
Stayed briefly in Rome on our way back from South Asia. Beatrice was the perfect host. I had made a mistake with the date of my reservation and she was very helpful and worked with Expedia to change the booking even though she was called...More
Excellent location for walking to all Rome attractions and the Metro Station. Personnel is friendly and very helpful. Room is small but very comfortable. Extremely good value. Good sized room, nice breakfast, lovely hosts. Old- fashioned elevator. Inner and outer doors. Couple of minutes to the Republica stop on the Metro. About same to Termini. 2 minutes to via Nazionale. Well located.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
