We stayed for 3 nights in this small B&B "Hotel de charme" and ist was really awesome - and not expensive at all. Charming, with all facilities you need, perfectly situated in the centre of Rome (near to all important attractions), Our host Edgard was just fantastic, he was very helpful for each question we had. We had the "Orange... More

Edgar was awesome and very helpful with us! He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and to help us out with recommendations and what to do. Edgar helped out in everything that we needed! This hotel is centrally located to the main sites and historic attractions. A lot of culture and beautiful places to visit. We really... More

Stayed with my friend for 4 nights in May 2016. Overall, excellent stay and would recommend again to others and stay here again when in Rome. Pros: 1. Prompt and clear communication leading up to stay. 2. Quiet street. Close to termini. Lots of shops near by for water, pharmacy. Great location overall. 3. Safe building with good lift up... More

It's small, only 5 rooms, so staff is there only in morning. After that, you're on your own. Good wifi, but beds hard a rocks. Staff said there were "orthopedic", but I'd say just hard. Breakfast just OK. Good neighborhood, and they do give good suggestions for restaurants. A little weird going into a building and taking a 100 year... More

66 Imperial Inn is a very nice little hotel conveniently located next to the Termini station in a quiet street. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, staff is very friendly and breakfast is fairly decent.

The staff was very helpful, even getting in touch before we arrived. Clean & bright room that was very spacious for Europe! It was walking distance from Termini station, the breakfast was excellent - would definitely recommend!

Cute little bed and breakfast in good central location. The staff was very friends and accommodating. We arrived early and were able to get straight into our room. We were given complimentary wine in the room. On our last day in Rome we were able to leave our bags in the hotel upon checking out so that we could do... More

This was a two-night stay returning from a holiday in Puglia - and taking the opportunity to get an impression of Rome. The Imperial Inn is a great place to stay. Not a hotel, but a refurbished flat with nice big rooms. Within easy walking distance of Termini and really everything else. The room was a very good size. The... More

When I first visited the Eternal City as a backpacking student some 40+ years ago this area close to Stazione Termini was full of what was then called "Pensione". They were basic rooms, gloomy and often shared and accessed by lifts resembling Mr Otis' original prototype. Of course that has all changed now and the old pensione have become small... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
