The hotel is situated closest to the Colesseum and Roman Forum but other attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon can be reached in around 25 minutes on foot. Vatican City is a 45 minute walk away. Also close to one of Rome's major shopping areas, with many designer brands. Rooms are comfortable and modestly sized... More

This hotel was perfect for our trip. My sister had stayed there and recommended it to my girlfriend and I. I'm glad we decided to stay here. The hotel staff was great, very nice all around. The included breakfast was a perfect way to start the day, a good assortment and the coffee was great. Cappucino, italian coffee or american... More

the hotel is really nice, traditional style like most of hotels in Rome. Nice room, clean, not so big but with all the amenities, mini bar with good choices and big window. During our stay we notice that half of the staff were very polite and the other half not so.. Position is ideal close to metro and the famous... More

It was a very nice stay. Perfect location...close enough to all the major sites but far enough from all of the touristy stuff. The restaurants near the hotel were really good. Go for the breakfast plan, it's pretty decent. Only complaint is the musty smell in our bathroom.

This hotel is well situated to explore Rome, on foot. It is a quiet street with several good restaurants nearby. It is a short walk from the train station (about 15 minutes). Our room was on the small side but was well appointed, comfortable and clean so nothing to complain about. Breakfast was pleasant but can get congested, whilst we... More

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Because our stay was 5 days, we were immediately upgraded. The Empire Palace was near a number of sights we wanted to see. There were a number of sidewalk cafes around the corner, as well as news stands and grocers. This hotel is in an old, converted home. The complimentary breakfast was exactly what... More

Stayed here 3 nights. It is on a quiet side street. Room was clean and comfortable. Had trouble with room door on check in but staff was helpful in solving the problem. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and a good gelato store around the corner. On main street from hotel about 5 min walk there is a small supermarket,... More

We stayed at this hotel at the end of our journey and found it to be very good. The concierge are very good. Extremely helpful and always went out of their way to make the stay a great one. The rooms are spacious with modern amenities and a great big bed. The bathrooms were also of a high quality with... More

Celebrity Cruise Line offered this hotel as one of its pre-cruise hotel options. We stayed two nights before our cruise and spent three days touring Rome. We had arranged transportation from the airport through the hotel for a very reasonable 66 Euro. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us to the car with our luggage.... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
