Had a 4 night stay at the hotel, impressive building tastefully decorated. Bedrooms small but very acceptable for the time spent there. The beds are so comfortable with fabulous crisp white bedding which was changed every day as were the towels, bathroom compact with a selection of toiletries. The bar manager Moumo was an asset to the hotel, was very...

We were totally pleased with our stay at the Empire Palace Hotel. This hotel was provided for us as part of a package deal. It was however an upgrade from the hotel in their standard package. The hotel is located in a very nice part of Northern Rome. The area has a mixture of commercial and residential properties. It is...

I arrived in the evening and although the hotel is close to the Termini train station I had arranged a car to take me from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area, although close to transportation and walking distance to a number of attraction and I felt safe walking at all times. I had...

We stayed a total of 7 nights and well, the hotel is astonishingly beautiful, in an historical building close to the Termini station and hence very central and close by to everything. Rooms are spacious and clean, well kept and maintained as the rest of the structure is in tip top condiotions. BUT Service is painfully slow, inefficient, surely for...

When we arrived at the Empire Palace it was early in the morning and our room wasn't supposed to be ready until 3 pm. But since they knew when had come from the States on a long flight they found gave us an available room. Although they were busy and crowded the gentlemen at the front desk were good humored...

The hotel is in a great location to walk to many attractions. It's on a side street so it's not too crowded to get in and out of the hotel. The rooms are adequate and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a cute courtyard for having drinks or a bite to eat. Great gelato place around...

We had a very nice stay at the Empire Palace Hotel. The room was a decent size and it looked as though it was newly remodeled. The front desk was very helpful. There were restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel is situated closest to the Colesseum and Roman Forum but other attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon can be reached in around 25 minutes on foot. Vatican City is a 45 minute walk away. Also close to one of Rome's major shopping areas, with many designer brands. Rooms are comfortable and modestly sized...

This hotel was perfect for our trip. My sister had stayed there and recommended it to my girlfriend and I. I'm glad we decided to stay here. The hotel staff was great, very nice all around. The included breakfast was a perfect way to start the day, a good assortment and the coffee was great. Cappucino, italian coffee or american...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
