Surprised by the positive reviews... Would not recommend. I am a frequent traveler to Europe and consider this one of my only booking failures. The smell was so strange, a mix of strange foods, stale air and cigarettes. The only good thing about the place was the location. I would fork out additional money in a heart beat to stay...

Dear user We were certainly very disappointed and surprised to read this review, probably because in many years of business this is our first (and we hope last) negative review ever. It really concern us, for many reasons. First, it sounds really strange to me to read that the smell of our bed and breakfast was full of cigarettes, because...

I found downtown accomadations by accident on the internet N and what a find. The location is excellent, a 5 to 15 minutes walk to every major attaction and Llorenzo was beyond helpful and kind. It is 15 minutes walk from the train station and 3 minutes to the metro. The price with breakfast was thr best i have ever...

This is a difficult B&B to review. I used trip advisor when planning our trip to Rome and decided on this place by what others had said and I have to say that what I read was very accurate. Most people said that it was a good value for the price (especially in Rome) but lacked charm, a good breakfast,...

This guesthouse is about a 4 minute walk to the Colosseum and there are many restaurants around the area. Breakfast was simple but good, especially for the price! The room was clean with a good size. Safe was provided, which is a definite plus point. Service was good- always with a big big smile and we were allowed a late...

Good experience of visiting this guesthouse 5 mins walk from the centre of Rome. Breakfast was good and the hosts always went out of their way to do what you asked. Very pleasant stay. The location is idyllic if you want to spend a lot of time around the Colosseum areas.

My brother and I are traveling Europe and we decided to stay in Rome for 9 days and this B and B was the best place we stayed on our trip thus far. We had just come from Amsterdam and stayed in a horrible hostel and had a miserable stay there, so this place far surpassed our expectations. Lorenzo was...

Excellent value stay in Rome. Very generous breakfast. The owner Lorenzo was a really nice person, explaining us were to find cheap places to eat, what sights to see and the best plans for our trip. We felt very welcomed and of course had an excellent stay. We will return, no doubt. Thank you Lorenzo!

Stay here if you want to stay literally few steps from the Coliseum and Roman Forum all at an excellent value! The Owner and his son are so nice and helpful, always wanting to help and give nice suggestions. Downtown Accomodation is really an excellent place to stay. Really recommended! Pablo from Spain.

Arrived to an enthusiastic welcome. Once settled, Lorenzo annotated a map of central Rome with comments such as 'no food' (for the areas around the Parthenon, Trevi Fountain), these being where you are likely to be served pasta with sauce from a jar at restaurant prices. Everything was within walking distance: the Colosseum and forums were just down the road,...
