Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is in the 2nd floor of the building, it has an elevator so that's a plus, the hotel itself it's very small. The rooms are not that small, there is plenty of space to accommodate yourself. The shower is very small so if you are a big/large person you might have... More

I have booked at Downtown Accommodation twice. In 2012 and in 2016. Me and my husband had stayed with them in 2012 and we had loved it so much that I booked here for my parents in 2016. Isa and Lorenzo are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are polite, friendly, helpful and very kind! I... More

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon trip to Italy. This was the first city we arrived in and our stay was so wonderful, the rest of the accommodations we stayed at over the course of the following two weeks in Italy were compared to this one. Lorenzo was the most gracious and helpful host. After a long... More

This hotel worked well for us. We were located in the old part of rome and therefore we were able to walk to all the attractions. Particularly close to the Vatican (about a 15 minute walk). Room was comfortable and a good size for Rome. A very nice buffet breakfast was included with both hot and cold items.

I know I am late to review but this hotel`s best attribute is the location. The host Lorenzo is very accomodating and helpfull. The location is ideal as you are close to some of the best sites in Rome. You can basically walk to Colosseum, romain Forum, Capitole and piazza Navona. The hotel includes breakfast, the only thing is the... More

A wonderful location in the historic centre of Rome at a very reasonable price. It is located a block from the Monti district, which is one of Rome's most charming neighbourhoods. Lorenzo and Roberto were wonderful hosts, making us feel very much like we were in our own home. Grazie, Lorenzo e Roberto

This review is a year late, but I'm sure it's just as wonderful today as it was then. The thing that impressed me the most was the cleanliness...you could eat off the floor (if you wanted to), it's that clean. Lorenzo, the host and his son were fantastic. Available, considerate and ready with recommendations. Not only was the room clean,... More

This hotel is all about location. A short walk to the Colosseum, Forum, and places to eat. We even walked up the street to do our laundry. The room is fine with a comfortable bed, air conditioning and bathroom. With the window closed, it is quiet. Nice helpful staff, who brings breakfast to the room.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights at Soggiorno Downtown. We loved the location, the breakfast and the friendly owner, Lorenzo. I accidentally left my jacket behind and he was so kind to organise everything for my jacket to be returned to me. Thanks sooooo much for a lovely stay. If we are back in Rome we will... More

Downtown accommodation is a well situated 'budget' accommodation. It is cleaned daily with friendly and helpful staff. You are three blocks to the colosseum and two blocks to the underground. The AC worked well and was appreciated during a heat wave. The owners speak Chinese, English and Italian which helps with communication. There is an elevator in case you have... More
