The hotel is in a fantastic location, 3 minute walk from the Termani station, 20 minute walk to the Colosseum and plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep
Our check in was smooth, although we arrived early we left our case and bags at the hotel in a secure room
We were on the third floor. Room was small but comfortable. A good shower, a safe, and a big wardrobe.
Breakfast is pretty basic, but fine
We found all the staff to be friendly and courteous
Check out was smooth, you have to pay city tax 4€ per person per night and for some reason the hotel only accepted cash, luckily there was an ATM just outside
The only thing that stopped us from giving this hotel 5 out of 5 was the cleaning of the bathroom wasnt great throughout our stay, lots of hair (and we know it wasnt ours as we both have short hair!) and dust behind the bathroom door and round the edges of the shower and the toilet, a thorough floor clean on a daily basis would set this right
Overall a pleasant stay and definitely would recommend
They won't release the money until you've paid the daily fees. There's no use counting on that money. You also had a charge of 24 euros for extra fees that you must pay money so that you do not have tax collection.
The elevator is old and can only two people at a time, the room was very old and when opening the window to circulate air, there was a lot of street noise.
The breakfast had varieties, but some items seemed to be old and had no way to eat. Really not worth the price that is paid, the only advantage is the location.

The location is ok close to the train station, rooms are extremely outdated. Shower was dirty and had leftovers of previous guest shampoo and soap packets. I took a photo and showed it to Marco the front desk man downstairs and ask him if someone could come and clean it or if he had another room, his answer was "but is the rest of the bathroom clean? Maybe tomorrow I can send someone (we were checking out the next morning) there's nothing I can do now.
He couldn't care less, even after I told him I couldn't shower like that, that the lack of cleaning was not ok and was not acceptable, he didn't even apologize.. in all my years working in hospitality I've never seen anyone so careless, rude and unserviceable.
