The location of this B&B is very convenient, close to the metro Barberini (v. well connected to the Termini Train station) and a few steps from Villa Borghese (which is great if you are a morning runner!). The building is very quiet and elegant. My room had a very good size and was spotless clean. Air conditioning and wifi worked very well. The only hiccup was the hairdryer with a plug that would not fit any socket in the room (see picture) --- an adapter could be easily provided. Unfortunately, the breakfast does not live up to the room's standards as it is very basic and not very healthy (no fresh fruit or yogurt but only industrial bakery products). The use of the kitchen and fridge is convenient to make your own breakfast but the price could be lower in view of this. There was a minor misunderstanding re the room payment upon arrival that was promptly addressed. Will stay here again.

Michael and Rosella at Racconti were superb. they really looked after us and made our Wedding stay so enjoyable. They made sure we had everything we needed and then some. We would highly recommend these apartments as they are spacious clean and airy. Wonderful. The location is superb too; close enough to be within easy reach of great sights and Rome's attractions. We will be coming back very soon.

Took a cab here from the airport. A good decision for us being in Rome for the first time. Smaller B&B's don't have big neon signs, so it can be a bit confusing finding places. You have to ring the doorbell at street level and they'll buzz you in. Small elevator up and I think it was on third floor, make sure you ask at intercom. A very nice girl, Alessandra, met us in the little kitchen and was very pleasant to deal with. The room was great. We had the triple. Large, comfortable bed. A smaller bed and a pull out were also in the room. Large, modern bathroom. Hot water was iffy a couple of times. On the weekend there was another guy from I Racconti welcoming some more guests. We were having trouble trying to book Vatican Museum tours online. We asked him for help and he signed on a site on his laptop and was able to get us advanced tickets online. You'll want to try to get tickets in advance to the Vatican museums. Long, long lines. We were very appreciate of the staff. Breakfast was okay. Cereal, toast, cold meat, cheese, yoghurt and sweets. Coffee maker was good.. Delicious and strong coffee. Racconti di Roma is In a bit more of a business district, it was quiet at night and close enough to the sites. A 5 or 6 minute walk to Barberini subway stop. Ten or so to the Spanish Steps and the Spagna train station is close to there as well. Take the train to the Colloseum and Circus Maximus area. It's probably a 30 minute walk. Trevi fountain and The Pantheon are about a 20 minute walk. Just expect to do lots of walking in Rome. Also, near the Racconti, we found a great ristorante... if you make a right from the doorway and up to Via Lazio, turn right and walk along till it turns into Via Sardegna, keep walking about a block and you'll see a red awning on the south side of the street. Risorante Forno a Legna. Had a great meal of fresh clams and pasta in a garlic/oil sauce. Molto Bene. We searched long for a good place using trip advisor and booking.com. We were not dissapointed with this place and would stay again.
