This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. This time we were 2 families with 3 children. They were able to accommodate us very comfortably in a triple room and a quad room. The staff are extremely helpful and we like the fact that the hotel is near the main railway station for easy access but yet... More

I arrived at Rome from Venice at 11 P.M hoping to have a nice hot water bath and a warm welcoming bed to sleep in. To start with I was unable to find the hotel ( from the main station, Termini). I called up the receptionist and he directs me to a church( took me a lot of time to... More

It is an OK hotel, very central in Rome. Just 10 -30 minutes walking distance to the major sights and shopping centres in Rome. Beautiful local small hidden streets everywhere, within 10 -20 minutes walking distances and the central train station. Clean and well tended! Watch your steps while walking along the corridor as the floor are not always even!

the manager, owner is very helpful and showed us how to get to Eataly, the best resto in Rome. rooms are just ordinary, just what you need after a day's walk. Food is redundant. would definitely use this hotel if in Rome

The hotel occupies a floor and a half in an old building. Though running a hotel like that is quite a challenge, we felt that it is done in the highest standard! Maintenance level, cleanliness, breakfast quality are superb, and so it staff attitude, making the guests feel most welcome. The hotel entrance is a bit tricky to find -... More

Room was silent because not on the main street, simply but they have all what you need. Excellent staff Everything was ok, u can visit all the best places... More

Myself and 3 girl friends stayed here for 3 nights last week, we booked this hotel on past reviews and we were not disappointed. This hotel is on Via Nazionale not far from the train station. It's set back from the road and you enter through large wooden doors in to a lovely court yard with a fountain. The hotel is set... More

The hotel charged us the cancellation for the first night (23rd March 2016) even they knew that we were flying from Zaventem (Brussels) where took place the terrorist attack and the flights to and from Zaventem have been cancelled. I will not choose it never again.

I tried another hotel but I won't do that again. This is perfect, of course the breakfast is an Italian breakfast but you just have to deal with that in Italy. No eggs but you can have toast. It's. Great hotel

I booked this hotel based on other reviews and wasn't disappointed. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk from Termini railway station. We got the express train from the airport and was there in 30 mins. You need to exit the railway station towards the bus station - we did a slight detour on the way there but it was... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
