We've stayed here twice, in one of the suites with a terrace. The rooms are large, and the terrace is a boon in the good weather. The location cannot be beaten - everything is within walking distance. There are good restaurants in the area, which the staff will recommend. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. I would not consider...

We ended our trip in Rome. We stayed at Residenza Canali for only two nights but would have loved to stay longer. The location is fabulous, about equidistance between the forum and the Vatican. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel has a great feel to it and is clean and quiet. [--]

The hotel is hidden away in a side street just off Piazza Navona. It is hard to find being in a pedestrianised area (in theory) and with only the description/sign a small card/name plate alongside the bell marking the front door. The room was pleasant but small with very limited storage space, two of us with weekend luggage was too...

My husband and I started our 2 week trip here and we absolutely loved this hotel. We arrived on May 3rd, stayed in room #2 for 5 nights and loved it. I would recommend arranging the car service through the hotel. That's what we did and they obviously know right where the hotel is. It is very small and has...

We loved this very quiet little hotel, once we found it (we stumped two cab drivers with the street address). The room wasn't real big, but it was very clean, and with the windows shut it was very quiet. It is located on a small alley just off Via dei Coronari near Piazza Navona (tell the cab driver that, and...

We began our 2 weeks in Italy here, and after the climb to the second floor reception, we felt totally at home. Stefano helped with restaurant suggestions and directions and all the staff gladly responded to every request. My wife, a real foodie with a sweet tooth, felt their fresh pastries were the best we had for breakfast during our...

We stayed at the Residenza Canali ai Coronari for four nights in late March. Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, Residenza Canali appeared to fit my requirements for a clean, very quiet hotel less than 200 euro/night. I was very nervous, however, because both my partner and I are very sensitive to noise at night and the hotel is in a...

Just got back from a six day stay in Rome. The Residenza Canale is a truly authentic palazzio hotel. Tucked away on a narrow side street (and therefore easy "not" to find, i suspect), it is set in a fantastic location for visiting the city. Seems to be just a stroll away from all the major sights (or is that...

We stayed here early March and found the location central and excellent for walking to all major attractions, just off Piazza Navona, couldn't better that. Reception will give you a city map. Rates extremely good for being so central. The hotel was comfortable, bedroom spacious enough for two (room 6), bathroom well organised and spanking clean. All linen changed daily....
