I must admit that we were disappointed with the residenza. In comparison with other hotels we stayed at in Italy and in Rome, this one was by far the least pleasant. We paid a rather high price because this time we wanted to stay in the historical center of the city - and chose this residence on the basis of... More

Amazing location in the centre of old Rome. Small hotel. Great staff. Location is the key. Close to Piazza Navano. Located on the oldest retail street. Terrific restaurants close by. Best gelato in all of Italy just down the street.

Can't fault this small hotel in terms of location in the Navona zone. Within walking distance of all the main attractions in central Rome - with Piazza Navona only just around the corner providing day-long "entertainment" - the usual mime artists, painters, musicians and the odd comedian. Needless to say there are plenty of restaurants in the area - yet... More

Friends of ours suggested we book this wonderful little hotel and I am so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we were impressed by its location, the staff and our amazing room. As in previous reviews there is no elevator and yes the stairs are steep but that was a non issue for us. My suggestion for anyone... More

Just arrived. Comfortable, room is well provided with tea and coffee, air conditioning, clean. Pleasant and helpful staff. Great location in the center of the city. Walking distance from many sites. Highly recommended.

Sorry to repeat others, but even with minor 'digs' - This is a great hotel choice in an outstanding central Rome location without breaking the bank. [NOTE: If your health and/or mobility cannot handle stairs, don't book this one. No repeat NO elevator. A good healthy jaunt up the multiple flights of narrow steep stairs at days end left us... My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great. I was a little hesitant when I first walked in because of all the stairs and the hole in the wall feel to it, but it was one of my favorite hotels. First, the location is PERFECT. You are close to everything, including bus stops, taxis, and... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights, and were very happy with the accommodations. The lobby area needs to be updated with fresh furnishings, but we were extremely happy with the décor and style of our suite. Even though our room overlooked the charming street, it was very quiet when the windows were closed. The bed was very... More

As a frequent visitor to Rome, normally with friends or family, I chose the location of this hotel as for this trip I was traveling alone and I was not disappointed. A five minute walk to Piazza Navona meant that there were still plenty of pedestrians around to make a person feel safe walking back to the hotel should I... More

Firstly I was very glad to have read the reviews about the stairs and small shower! With that in mind I booked a fourth floor room with a terrace. 78 stairs and worth every trip up them! The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. The staff... More
