Loved this hotel. Lovely large room with a balcony. The bathroom was very clean and had a shower and large bath. Good location. We walked to the Trevi fountain and the Borghese gallery. The breakfast room was small but it had everything you would need to start the day. Wi fi was free and the reception staff were helpful. There... More

Nice, small hotel, which was situated in the second floor of the building. Our room was small, but clean and cosy. We had a view to the inside, where was a small courtyard. But it was not a problem. It was quiet at least. We had the room 113. The hotel was near the centre with many good restaurant in... More

Dear Customer, First of all thank you have booked at our hotel and to have it reviewed, though not very well, but we accept both the fine words is the ugly. Maybe not a four star hotel from the outside, but the service inside is what really matters. Located within a 5 minute walk to Metro with pleanty of tours picking up and dropping off close by this hotel fit the needs of our family. We stayed for 14 days and took advantage of the breakfast in the morning to help... More

Booked for a weekend trip to Rome. We were three people so got a triple room meaning it was a bit crowded but it served its purpose. Location was good as managed to get into the centre easily in about 20 minutes and an amazing gelateria on the corner. Arrived late at night and reception was open but then they... More

The hotel was located on the 2nd floor and the tiny lift was very authentic. The room was basic with a shower only. For the amount of time spent in the room it was fine. The breakfast was pleasant, although the room was tiny and you were leaning over each other to get to the cereals etc. The only thing... More

What you would expect for the star rating. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff - especially the breakfast waitress. Breakfast room very small (12 covers). So may need to wait for a table if they are busy. No other communal areas except a small reception. 20 minute walk from the centre of Rome with several surrounding restaurants. Room service limited to tea/coffee.

I have read people do not like this hotel but I would disagree. Everything it says it offers it does, the staff will happily give you maps and directions and it is very clean. Perhaps it isn't the best hotel but when you consider you pay almost nothing to stay there I was very satisfied.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
