The hotel itself is clean, there was no tea or coffee facility in the room for whatever reason and it’s located in the centre which is great.. But where is the service?!... It’s a quite pricey hotel and in our experience the staff were rather unwelcoming especially the restaurant staff, terrible! We missed the breakfast by 5 mins on our first day and the man with glasses said “closed”. Okay, I accepted that breakfast is over and the restaurant is closed. I asked him if it’s still possible to have a cup of coffee, then he cursed porco dio while banging dishes. I understood what it meant despite of my non italian heritage. cursing at guests is not only inappropriate but extremely rude! The next morning, we returned for breakfast and it was disaster! No coffee, no cutlery, most importantly no service! Waitstaff running around in chaos, completely disorganised. They were already out of foods by 9am.... definitely not coming back. Rome is a beautiful city because of the Roman ancient history for which tourists are spending their money for, but what will this city offer without it?! there’s no need to curse, a little more respect would be appreciated..…
The hotel is great. The only issue was their air-conditioning was not working. It is still cool enough at night. to sleep. My positive experience before we left home, Sabrina, one of the front office people set up our port and airport transportation. The hotel is very clean and pretty quiet. The employees are very nice and helpful. The included breakfast has a lot of choices. The location is prime in central Rome within walking distance of most of the major sights. There are a lot of restaurants in close proximity. We would gladly stay here again.
Average hotel. Furniture is old and there’s no air conditioner. The breakfast doesn’t have much options. No fresh fruits, no lactose free milk neither yogurt and bread was not fresh. The staff is nice. Location is very centric and it is the best part of the hotel.
The hotel was great. Walking distance to most of the attractions of Rome. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall a great place to stay in Rome.
The only thing that I asked the hotel was about aircondition and they say that all rooms have aircondition...but it is not aircondition/ after 2 nights I run out of the hotel. the rooms were not clean. Big NO!
Ideal location, very clean and comfortable bed. Staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected but disappointed with the egg, bacon and sausages were always cold, which we did inform the Maitre Di but made no difference. Towels and linen changed regularly. Main problem was not being able to regulate the temperature of the room. It was too hot but when you opened the window it was too noisy. Reception said they would send someone up on the first day to look at the temperature control . This didn’t happen until the 3rd day and made no difference at all. Otherwise we had a good stay in Rome and the hotel was close to Metro and most of the main attractions.
Hotel could not be in a better location 20 min walk to all tourist attractions as very central. All staff were fab! Beds comfy ...pillows thin, couldn’t work the air Con/heating out but wasn’t a problem really. Shutters in windows block pretty much all the noise and light out. Breakfast nice; fills you up but not lots of choice. The spa was not worth visiting...didn’t use the gym as we walked miles every day! No English tv channels just news(didn’t bother me but FYI) Fantastic restaurant on the corner (1min was) called est est est Ricca was very small restaurant but was AMAZING and very very reasonable!
Excellent location with easy walking to most sights in central Rome. Great bar and room service for food and drinks. Breakfast had a great variety, wiwth both healthy and "unhealthy" food. It was quiet and bed was comfortable. I would stay here again next time in Rome.
Great hotel, ideal walking distance from all the sites. Staff are very attentive, food very good. Excellent restaurant directly opposite. Will definitely stay here again. Spa is good. Rooms very clean and comfortable
Really loved our stay here! The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, The bed was very cosy. We had a great night's sleep!! And delicious breakfast buffet!! Even the Ensuite was gleaming which is one of those things I really appreciate. (If anyone else can agree, a clean bathroom can be everything!!) Couldn't fault it in anyway. We only stayed for a day and night but the hotel is situated in close walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, The Pantheon and The Spanish steps. Unfortunately we hadn't planned our trip to the spa properly and when we tried to book in we were advised it was full to capacity. So I'd advise booking a time in advance or going earlier than 8pm. As you will need to borrow the spa robes off the hotel before they are gone. But other than that, tiny disappointment without doubt, I will definitely be staying there again on my next visit!!…
