Neighborhood
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

We were finishing up a long trip and wanted to visit the coliseum for a more extensive tour than the one we had two years earlier. We wanted to be close and you cannot get closer than this property!

We arrived early and called up to Roberto and he quickly came downstairs to unl

We stayed here for 4 days and were absolutely blown away at the location of this hotel. Our view was spectacular and made my birthday trip so special. We organised our own transfers which were really simple to and from the airport and also arranged our sightseeing trips before le

We stayed for 3 nights. Roberto had arranged our airport transfer and stayed up to greet us even though our flight was very delayed. We would have needed someone to locate the rooms for us as they are tucked away between 2 cafes. We could indeed see the colosseum from our room! T

I'm staying here in September and have tried to contact the hotel via email and phone with regards to having an extra bed provided and a colosseum view but have unfortunately had no response. I can see from the reviews that they usually contact you when the booking is made, but I've not had any luck. Could anyone give me some details on what number or email you've spoke to the hotel on? Thanks
I contacted them via email as well. He made our arrangements as well as far as transportation. We requested a view but were not guranteed one, our view wasnt the best but we still saw it from our room, it was still an awesome experience none the less, its literally in front of the colesuem.

How many beds are in a room? How many people per room are permitted?
The room that we stayed in had a double bed very spacious and extremely comfortable. Overall the size of the room was quite big and you can manoeuvre with ease. You will be filled with joy at the room and the view that comes with it.

Is there an elevator to the rooms? My partner has a walking disability ,do we have to use stairs to get to the elevator?
There is a small set of stairs right outside the hotel and once inside I think there was another small set (maybe 3 or 4 steps) to get to the elevator. Another note about the elevator... it is NOT a large modern elevator. It is very old school style, with two doors that you manually open then close yourself. We thought this was super cool as we had never seen one of these in person before, however, depending on the capability of the person you're traveling with, could be an issue. Are they in a wheelchair?

Hello, I've just booked a room with you all through Expedia. I'm curious to know if there is any charge for incidentals upon check-in, and if so, how much?
Regarding the city tax, you may have already paid this to Expedia when booking so obviously don't need to so double check that.

We are visiting May 9-11 and will be driving in late, around 9-10 o'clock at night. Is it normally possible to get a parking space near the B&B or would they be full? Is there a parking garage nearby?
Sorry guys, just saw this. Perhaps I should have mentioned that I didn't drive while in Rome. I relied fully on the Metro as it was convenient and the station was just down the road (literally) from the BnB

"Location, Location,Location!"
"We enjoyed Room 2, has partial view of Colosseum"
"We took the private airport transfer that the B&B offers. If you take the metro to the hotel, use the exit with the escalator. The metro has 2 exits. One at the bottom (in front of the Colloseum where the Colloseum admission entrance is) and one at the top where the hotel and cafe is. Look for the large brown wooden door between two cafes. There is no big sign for the hotel. "
"Email ahaead to ask for colosseum views"
"The elevator is aged but works easily once shown how to use it."
