We stayed here 5 nights in November and were very pleased. Excellent value! The rooms are modern, crisp, clean and nicely decorated. WiFi works great. The neighborhood is lovely and close to metro and the Vatican. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. It was easy to get around to sights using a combination of metro and walking. Breakfast was... More

This was my first time staying in a B&B in Italy and it was an amazing experience! Alessandro was extremely helpful in making the arrangements for the first half of our trip and was helpful in giving us directions to get around. The room was also surprisingly modern which we also liked. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a great location, brilliant host / manager. Rooms are beautifully decorated, breakfast is filling (melon, croissants, bread, meats, coffee, orange juice, Cheese, jams, biscuits) The host Alexander is so friendly and full of great local knowledge. Building is safe and rooms are renovated recently with beautiful finish. Feels top end without costing a fortune. Great Wifi, comfy beds and... More

What a find. Residenza Alexander is in a lovely district of Rome -not too touristy but close to the Vatican (10 minutes walk). Hotel is modern, bright, quiet and spotlessly clean (I've never stayed in a cleaner accommodation!). Allessandro himself is so friendly and can't do enough to ensure your stay is comfortable. This is my first time back to Rome after... More

First to say, I am quite fussy about hotels\b and bs! Second to say, this one was first class, and for an amazing price! The style is very modern (I sometimes felt like I'd stepped into the future!) And extremely clean. The host is a very nice, friendly and helpful man. Breakfast is lovely, albeit in a small eating area, but... More

Beautifully renovated B&B 10 mins walk from Vatican and from Piazza del Popolo. The owner, Alessandro, could not do enough to help and is full of tips on great places to eat that do not cost a fortune and are not full of tourists, and also gave us excellent ideas on some things to do and explore that were a... Our best night's sleep (of 10) in Italy. Cool, quiet, beautifully clean room. Great location and Alessandro is a wonderful host. Helped us with dinner (and lunch) recommendations, sorted out a transfer to the airport, great advice on how to spend our last afternoon in Rome. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and we will return one day!

Very well located, this B&B is a very nice place to stay in Rome. Alessandro immediately makes you feel welcome and gives all necessary tips for a pleasant and care free holiday. A special mention for the breakfast lady whose friendly smile is a good way to start the day.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
