This is not a hotel it is a bed breakfast which I was not clear on. It is near the main Rome station, which is not a nice area scary at night. Very hard to find as you enter through a residential door to a apartment building where they have a section of a floor with rooms. Our room and...

Rhome Terminal was super clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the TV was pretty, the toilet was spacious, it's just 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini and it was reasonably priced! The main entrance was a big and tall door by the road side. Gotta press on the door bell and the receptionist of Rhome Terminal will open the...

The hotel occupies a floor of a nice building. This is not a traditional hotel with 24h reception and room service, but you have access to a small kitchen with coffee and tea. The room is modern with clean lines, and with a good shower. A nice breakfast is served in a café next door to the hotel, with friendly...

A fantastic place to stay when visiting Rome! We were able to check in to our room early and leave our bags in the reception area after we checked out before catching the train to Venice. Our room was of a very high quality - modern, clean and a good size, with a lovely bathroom. There was a mini bar...

I stayed in this marvellous accommodation on 2 separate occasions in July/August 2013. The first visit was an overnight and then i came back for a 4 day stay. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Rome now. For comfort, cleanliness and modern stylish decor it is a perfect oasis from a frenetic Rome and in such an excellent central...

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children in May 2013 for 4 nights. We were extremely happy with the location, cleanliness, apartment layout and personal service from the owners (sorry cannot remember names). My parents also stayed for 2 nights and loved it, especially the markets out the front of the building every morning. The location was...

My wife and me we are Italian and we decided to go to Rome for a short vacation. We stayed at this bed and breakfast for four nights from Wednesday to Sunday and, in a nutshell, it was a fantastic experience we warmly recommend! Let's start with the first point: the location. The apartments have the perfect location because they...

This B&B is very modern and clean in a secure building with a lift. It is situated close to Rome Termini train station, bus interchange and metro which gives great access to all sightseeing areas of Rome. It is also possible to walk to most areas too. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the bathrooms large and modern. It is...

I went to Rome for a weekend and was looking for a high quality accommodation in the city center, but still a quiet place and for a good price, which is difficult to find. After many hours searching on the internet I found this apartment and I can say that my expectations were totally fulfilled, it was just amazing. The...

Hidden gem close to Termini. 5 minutes walk, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable rooms, super clean, spacious and modern. It was very easy to feel comfortable and to relax. Real life was better than the pictures. Breakfast was nice at the next door restaurant, it's Italian style, which means loads of sugar! You can choose from different pastries, we also had...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
