I was there for two nights with my girlfriend in this beautiful residence , on my arrival the owner greeted us like we were his relatives , explained the rules of the house and recommended great restaurants and places of interest . the rooms are clean and very quiet. excellent quality price. A day before our arrival, I got sent an email with the details: our apartment number and the password to enter the house. Check in was possible starting 2pm. I got there the next day. It's a 12 minute walk from Termini station, which has a train running directly from the airport. The neighborhood is very isolated on the weekends...

I would award this B&B a 5 star if the arrangements leading up to our stay was not a bit frustrating (I'll spare the details). Besides the reservation process, our stay was very positive. We were able to arrange a pickup from the airport. Since we didn't have a phone we had a hard time finding our driver. However, the...

A modern and new apartment with every comfort you need. Extremely clean and located in a good position near San Lorenzo, an area full of restaurants and bars. Nice pillows and bed. The staff has been very kind and we felt like in our home. I recommend it!

Location San Lorenzo is the University Area of Rome. By night you'll venture out and see a lot of the cities youth scattered at Bars. By day it's very busy with families and seems primarily focused on locals. It is a bit far from the main attractions of the city. Stayed here over Valentines weekend with T. We had a...

We recently stayed at Dalmati House on November 1, 2014, on our final leg of our family trip to Italy. We booked this via Hotels.com. I paid them in advance. When we arrived Dalmati House claimed there was an issue with the payment and demanded my credit card to pay. Later that evening I called Hotels.com and realized I just...

Stayed here in 5 person apartment for 3 nights. Apartment is new, modern and fresh with nice big beds, flat screen TV and lovely bathrooms. Location is ok with nearby connections to tram and bus into city centre. Neighbourhood a bit run down. Breakfast included is a joke as its only make your own coffee & toast in a package....

We have been here in holiday, just for one night. Our apartment, placed in the groundfloor, was absolutely amazing, comfortable and unpredictably luxury, similar to a 5 star. High-quality bed, nice bathroom with showergels, shampoo and towels with the brand "DH". Also the shower was perfect. Kitchen in good conditions, with new components. The only disadvantage is the quarter, not...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
