The hotel is very well localized, close to Fontana di Trevi and many other places. The hotel by itself is very good, clean, beautiful and the staff is very polite. The two negative points are the distance from metro station (at least 700m from the metro station, which makes us go walking to many attractions, and the internet, which is horrible, it just too slow).
Great hotel (stayed in annex area). They had a strange power outage that knocked out elevator for a few hours (happened to be when we checked in and left) and front desk wasn't really up front in offering help (and in general could use better customer service), but others (e.g., bar staff) were great and hotel itself is solid. It's close to key parts of Rome and would highly recommend.
This hotel is situated in a great part of the city. All the sites worth visiting are within walking distance apart from St Peter’s and would recommend a taxi to go there. (Only about 10 euros). Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable huge beds. We were in the annexe building and the air conditioning broke down one afternoon but was swiftly repaired. Ample choice of food for breakfast. We did eat in the lounge bar one evening, the food was good but very expensive water (which was a surprise as most restaurants have water free!). Recommend this hotel.
When we had finished the paperwork, we were told that the room was in another building. This building had no reception, and an elevator that I didn't like. Room was OK, but no door to the bathroom. That is not a good solution for a triple room (or any room for that). Quite expensive, and no breakfast included.
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our room was perfect (classic room), well-equipped with everything we needed and was excellently cleaned every day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was easy to control. The staff were always helpful with whatever we needed and were extremely nice and professional. The breakfast was very good for the amount you are paying and had a bit of everything to cater for our tastes. The bar downstairs is expensive, but the food is delicious and definitely worth a try. The hotel itself has a cool design and its location is ideal. Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rome.
The Rome Times is a certain archetype of city hotel. The kind that is somehow affordable and hip looking, but then when you get there you realize half their business model and vibe is keeping all of the lights half-dimmed so you don't notice the scuff marks and peeling wallpaper. Also, I know Romans have a reputation for being a little mean to tourists but boy oh boy was the night clerk grumpy when we arrived to check-in on a Monday night. My aunt asked for a second key for her room and he acted like he'd just been asked to transcribe the dictionary by hand. So, granted, a bad first impression. The clerks the next day were helpful enough when we needed to arrange an airport car and print a few pages. Now listen, it's not exactly a dump per se, it's just "a little dingy" as my wife put it. There are better values to be had in the city. Also, the restaurant bar is rather nice and we had a lot of fun there whether it was time for a nightcap or an aperitivo before going out. I think the bar was the hotel's saving grace for us. This could be a taste thing too. Some people like that dark vibe.…
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff were really helpful when we asked questions and wanted recommendations. Rooms were clean and modern. Great central location, close to all the places we wanted to visit.
Friendly staff. Clean and modern rooms. Lots of variety at breakfast. Had a meal here too - small menu but very nice. Easy to walk to main sites. Would stay again! Only thing I would say they could go to improve is to add some fairy lights and a few more seats to their roof terrace.
This hotel is in a prefect location. Short walk to wherever you want to go . Rooms were clean and fully functioning . Breakfast buffet was one of the best. Nice bar and rooftop terrace perfect for winding down in the evening . The hotel staff was extremely accommodating.
We stayed from 15-18 May, have a lovely stay. Hotel is in the perfect location everything is a 10 minute walk away. Plenty of restaurants, shops nearby. Every corner or street has lovely restaurants. Reception and staff were super friendly and so helpful from booking taxis, our airport transfer arrived half hour early and reception asked them to wait while we had breakfast. It was also my birthday when we stayed and I didn’t inform the hotel but I was surprised with a cake and candle at breakfast as they must have got my dob at check in so lovely. Rooms very modern and clean. Would stay again.
