We booked our hotel pretty late and this was one of the only ones left. It looks nice online but is definitely dirtier in person. There is mold around the windows and weird stains on the walls. Generally, everything could use an update and general maintenance. Also be prepared for the SLOWEST elevators imaginable. You have to leave early to give yourself time to ride the tiniest and slowest elevator ever. The reason I’m not giving this a lower rating is because the location is decent. Walkable to Ancient Rome (ie Colosseum), Trevi Fountain, Termini Station, and other sites. After staying here, I would not book this hotel nor would I recommend it to others.

Booked a junior suite for three nights. Great location for a visit to Rome. The Colloseum was a ten minute walk, lots of shops nearby (including a breakfast spot next door), and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted with ease, including the Vatican, Treve Fountain, and Pantheon. Nice high ceilings. Bed was fine. Bathroom left some to be desired, though no real issues with the place. Didn't have breakfast or go to bar. Good, affordable place to stay for travelers who plan on exploring.

We stayed for three nights. The room was really good. It was modern, with good facilities and clean. The only issue was the Wi-Fi on the 5th floor was completely non-functional. Not a huge issue but it was frustrating. The bar was also closed except at breakfast times. I’m not sure if this was due to COVID staffing problems or not but it would have been nice to grab a drink after getting back to the hotel. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. I would stay again. The location is great for the major sites except probably Vatican City which would be quite a walk.

We're so happy that you appreciated the location and the room and we're sorry for the problem you had with the Wifi connection, we'll do our best to reinforce it. The breakfast was poor, horrible and not tasty, it was not organised well and products were all cheap and watery; there was nothing good at the breakfast. There was no hot food, everything was cold and burnt. Also juices and hot drinks were not tasty at all and not filled, they only serve a quarter of the drinks. On Booking.com it says there is room service, which is why I booked the hotel, but actually this service was not offered at the hotel, so the information on the website was misleading. The building is also shaped in a weird way as the rooms are in a separate building from the reception and there is no security where the bedrooms are. Our view from the room was on an abandoned building where every morning there was loud work going on. Also in our sink water didn’t go down well. We had to pay extra to get a room with some privacy as the original room had a glass shower with no door and everyone could see it someone was taking a shower. Also in the reception they don’t understand that much English, for example we requested some tea bags and they told us to go and buy them in the shop, saying they didn’t have them, in a rude way (even though the bar has them at breakfast).

We spent 11 nights at the hotel. It was a great location, centrally located with about a 10 minute walk to the Colloseum and Trevi fountain. It was great value with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was super, with a variety of options and staff doing a great job under Covid restrictions. The room was comfortable, clean with good free wifi. If I visit Rome again I'd definitely want to stay here.
