Overall very good experience. From a family perspective, you should be aware the bathroom are an open deign. We are a family of 4 who stayed in a jr suite. There was plenty of space in the room but we essentially had to sit on the opposite side of the room while someone used the shower. That’s literally the only reason I didn’t give this hotel a 5 of 5.

Ok, basics first: hotel is very well situated, 15 minutes walk from the Termini train station, 10 minutes from the Coliseum and lots of good bars and restaurants nearby (try Alvicolo 9 just around the corner). Rooms are stylish and comfortable, large comfy beds with nice pillows. Details: lobby staff are very helpful and friendly, they will hold cases for you after checking out if needed. In detail: food is EXCELLENT! We grabbed a late lunch here on our first day as many of the local restaurants close between 3-7pm but the hotel kitchen stays open all day. We weren’t expecting anything special so when we were served a fantastic pizza and steak salad by the wonderful Giulio we were very pleasantly surprised. Giulio also took the time to explain the provenance of our wine choices (the wines were also excellent) like we were being served in a fine dining restaurant. All the bar/kitchen staff were excellent but Giulio definitely stood out for us as being the consummate professional waiter. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable and after our first breakfast had memorised our coffee order. A credit to the hotel. Thanks to all at Rome Times for a memorable 3 days in Roma! Ciao! Steven & Michelle xxx

Our family stayed a week ago at the hotel. We had 2 rooms. The rooms are very good! The space, the bed and bathroom are very good and very nice. The staff at the front desk and in dining room are wonderful. Very kind and helpful The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. The quality and the selection not at the same level as the all other experience. The location is very good I hesitate if to give 4 or 5 stars and decide to give 5 because of the staff.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it was about a 20 min walk from the train station that you arrive at after catching the train from the airport (we bought tickets for the leonardo train online prior to departure and just used codes on our phone). This is a very good hotel in an excellent location. Staff provided a helpful and friendly service. The large doors need to be fixed though because I did get stuck between two sets of doors at one point. Overall, this was a fantastic trip whilst staying in a lovely hotel, which I would be very happy to stay in again.

This was my 14th visit and 6th for my wife to the wonderful city of Rome. We've stayed in many areas of Rome and this time we've found a real winner. It's close to the centre and close to the train station too. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly staff and they gave us room 107, this room has the balcony at the front of the hotel which is quite a nice feature and we were pleased to have it. The room was excellent and very clean as was the bathroom. The Breakfast was served with a smile and was plentiful. The coffees were freshly made and not from a machine although you could top up from the machine as many times as you like. We dined in the restaurant on our last evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine on offer. The staff were great again. All in all it was fantastic long bank holiday weekend in Rome at the Times, we will be back and we'll highly recommend it to our friends. 👍

Booked the hotel as part of a package holiday. Great choice as centrally located and easy enough to walk to all of the sightseeing areas. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and staff are friendly. Breakfast selection is good - and there is plenty of it. Our family was not keen on the evening meal - it was very expensive compared to restaurants and really nothing special. Not a great selection for kids meals in the evening

Cute hotel but not very accommodating. I wish we had planned better and also chosen a different hotel. The hotel is convenient to attractions. We had two families each with 3 people, including one child per family. We booked two double rooms and mistakenly thought it would accommodate 2 adults and a small child per room. On arrival we were told the rooms could only accommodate two people each. Being Easter week many rooms were booked but they were able to change one room to a higher priced quad (4 in the room). Our disappointment was we could not put a cot in the double even though we upgraded to the larger room. The quad is two twin beds pushed together, a chaise converted to a single bed and a cot. They were unwilling to relocate the cot, so we had to split families. They seemed to be stuck that we paid for a double and a quad, and can only have 2 people in the double. Even though we ultimately paid for our 6 beds. Fortunately we are here for only two nights. We are thankful for our rooms but both families do a considerable amount of traveling. This is truly our first experience where a hotel was so inflexible. Our stay in Rome is less enjoyable. Lesson learned. Be very careful when making your travel arrangements. Chose a hotel that works to satisfy you. Rome is full of hotels and, hind sight being 20/20, we should have chosen one.

Response from Rome Times Front Office Manager, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Rome Times Hotel
Responded Apr 7, 2023
Dear Rob, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your current stay at Rome Times Hotel. As you mentioned you mistakenly reserved two double rooms for 2 adults and a small child (maximum 2 years old for baby cot). When you arrived we quickly found a better solution to accomodate 6 people (4 adults and two children of 11 and 12 years old). As we are in high season we only had one Junior Suite available for 4 people (the room has one king size bed plus one sofa bed for 2 people) and we informed you straight away that the Junior Suite was located in the annex building and the Double room in the main building and you accepted this solution. As explained we can't put an extra bed in a room that can accommodate maximum 2 people. We always work to satisfy our guests' needs and we always try to find the best solution when problems happen. We kindly invite you to pass by the reception to speak with us. We remain at your disposal for any further assistance you might need. Kind regards, Michela Front Office Manager
