This hotel is cute and the staff is friendly. It is a walk up and the elevator is tiny which is common in Europe so make sure you don't have that much luggage. It's not close to the tourist attractions so you will have to walk to the bus or metro station. I walk everywhere so I didn't mind it....

Lilium Hotel is a hotel with a nice decoration and a pleasant staff. There are minor issues to be solved but, overall, we had a pleasant experience there. The rooms are small but will do just fine if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring the city.

I booked this hotel after the good reviews here, it looks exactly like the pictures. Very cosy and intimate, nicely decorated and very clean. Service is really good for a small place. I booked the superior single room. Location is a walking distance from the train station and you can take bus or car for most attractions. We even walked...

Stayed there for a few days, it's clean and is in a great location for looking around Rome. On top of that, staff were very friendly and gave us some tips for when roaming the streets of Rome (well appreciated). Would recommend.

This was our 3rd stay in this hotel, we love it so much! The location just can't be beat - so close to Termini station and lots of restaurants in the area (best gelato - Gelateria La Romana is across the street!) It is walking distance to Piazza Barberini and other locations for sightseeing. The staff are so friendly and...

This is a lovely little hotel, was an ideal base for us as tourists spending most of our time exploring the city. The staff were helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was basic but tasty. Close enough to the centre if you are happy to walk 15min across shopping streets! Overall great value for money and...

This is the perfect hotel for tourists who plan to do as much as possible in Rome. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was perfect too and the entire hotel was very clean. The location is approx 15 min walk to the Trevi foundation, Spanish steps and other landmarks.

The room was maybe the cutest room I've ever been to. It was quite small, but there were also a balcony in our room which was a really nice addition. The service was good and the breakfast was quite basic. The hotel location was really good and there were lots of places to eat around.

My wife and stayed at the Lilium Hotel because we know the area and the hotel were we usually stay nearby was fully booked. I'd highly recommend this neighborhood of Rome, known as Ludovisi. It's relatively near Termini Station (15 Min. walk / 5 Min. by taxi), and it's easy to get anywhere in the city from here. The area...

Well situated in easy walking distance to Reppublica Piazza and the metro and plenty of dining options. Charming hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was tiny and power points minimum. All clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't get breakfast because we had early starts and breakfast didn't start until 7.45am. Would stay there again.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.

Liliumhotel has been reviewed by the National Geographic Traveler Magazine and has been inserted in the Eyewitness Travel Guide, which says of us: "On the third floor of a residential building midway between Termini and Via Veneto, Lilium is a charming little Hotel. Each of its small, beautifully decorated rooms is named after a flower and painted to match. The breakfast and sitting rooms are pretty with fresh flowers and colorful Australian songbirds.
