The location of the hotel is good and it's right opposite to termini station. But all other things are bad. No matter whether it's the room or facilities. Strictly NO to those who are planning to come to Rome with family

The hostel is in a great location right next to the Termini station and is very easy to find although the area surrounding the hostel may seem a little rough compared to the rest of Rome. We were bumped up to a private bathroom free of charge and the bed was very comfy. The only problems were no wall mount... More

Upon arriving in the area, we felt a bit hesitant. The hostel is located close to termini which makes subway access easy. The room had air conditioning and good wifi. Apart from smelling of cigarettes there is not that much to complain about. If you want good cheap accommodation and don't mind a dirty looking neighborhood, then this is a... More

t was a little difficult to find the reception, as much as it is in another number instead of that described in the reservation, but very close to Termini Station, so we can visit some places on foot. However, one bed was broken and only one person of the reception spoke in English with us (we went to the reception... More

We stayed many nights with a group of friends and the hostel was fine. They included breakfast (things packed to go) and the bathroom was clean enough. They also had a fridge that we could use but we couldn't use the kitchen. The only problem was that the lady in charged didn't speak English, and when we had to change... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
