Very nice rooms and bathroom with shower. If you have time you can walk by foot to see destinations but better to use subway(its fast and easier) 10 minutes and you will be on Vatican station ( one of the most far). Close to this B&B few nice restaurants, cafeteries and few mini markets (if you need smth). The cleaning...

The beds were very comfortable and the pressure in the shower was excellent. Stayed at El Dorado Colosseum for 3 nights with my sister when I booked the trip to Rome as her 30th birthday present. We were met on arrival where everything was explained to us and we were shown how to access everything. The room was very spacious and it was fantastic to have air conditioning. The location is great, we...

Unfortunately they haven't got parking area due to it is a geust house, but you can park in a nearby parking house, 25 EUR a day. You might find the room noisy with open window due...

Close to the city center. Only 10 minutes walk to Colloseum. The staff was really nice and gave us directions whenever we asked. The room was clean and...

El Dorado Colosseum was excellent. We were kindly offered a lift from the airport and were greeted at the door where we were shown our room and offered advice and tips about Rome. The room itself was lovely, and superb value for money. The location was walking distance from the Colosseum, next to a subway/metro station and close to a...

My husband and I had a good stay here. The place is in a busy street but it is quiet at night. It feels very private inside the unit and has a home feeling to it not like hotels. It is really close to the metro station makes it convenient to go to other locations. The Colosseum is walking distance....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
