Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights whilst we ventured around Rome for the first time. The manager, Beatrice, was absolutely lovely and ever so friendly and helpful! Upon arrival, she made us both feel so welcome. She gave us a map and highlighted areas of particular interest we definitely should go to and a list of restaurants she recommended (and they were amazing recommendations!) with some offering a discount for staying at the hotel. The room was beautiful, immaculate and clean. The hotel in general was modern and clearly a lot of thought and detail has gone into its design! The room was serviced every day and tea/coffee refilled in the room. The hotel is in a perfect location as well just next to the River Tiber and only a short walk away from the heart of the city and its sites. Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10.30am, with a selection of meats, fruit, cereal, pastries and toast etc. We were offered a cappuccino/espresso every morning when arriving for breakfast, but there are also a small selection of teas available (Twinings English Breakfast - winner!). If you ever needed any assistance, Beatrice was there until the late afternoon to help with anything. She even booked us a table at one of her recommended restaurants which was ever so helpful for the non-fluent Italians!
If we ever stayed in Rome again, we would without a doubt, stay here and recommend the hotel to everyone!

Just returned from a 4 night stay here and absolutely loved it. From the moment that we arrived, Beatrice was wonderfully welcoming and extremely helpful. She sat us down and gave us advice about places to visit and good places to eat. She also helped us to book our skip the line tickets for the major attractions, which saved us money compared to prices quoted by secondary travel agencies. Our room was lovely and the jacuzzi bath was very welcome after a long day sightseeing. The room was cleaned every day and was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was pleasant and fresh coffee was served by a very friendly and efficient waiter. Five days was not enough to see all that we wanted to see so we would love to return to Rome and would definitely look to book here again.

Loved this hotel! First, the location was just perfect, walking distance to all major tourist landmarks. The contemporary style of the rooms was really nice especially the bathroom with a bidet (Loved it). The elevator although small and cramp makes up for its uniqueness and antique style. Beatrice was really nice and helpful with all tips and recommendations from where to eat and where to go. You know it becomes personal when they already care even before you arrive. There was communication as to what time we were arriving and giving us information on how to get there from the airport, both public and private transportation. We were able to check in early as was very much appreciated coming from a long flight. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

A one word review of Luxury on the River is 'wow'. We are so happy with the accomodation our only regret is not staying longer. Simona and Beatrice could not be more helpful or pleasant both online or in person. The rooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean. Touches like a mural over the bed or full size reproductions of amazing art works like Gustav Klimt mean even the walk down the corridor to your room is an experience. The restaurant recommendations are the best I've had from a hotel. Clearly well research to ensure you find authentic, delicious, value experiences within a few minutes walk. The recommendation to visit Trattoria la Francescana is the best I've had. Fantastic, authentic, lovingly prepared Roman food at prices hard to believe. A faultless experience and a place the owners and staff should feel very proud to provide. 11 out of 10. Anyone complaining or finding fault in this hotel is clearly talking crap to seek a discount. Amazing job LotR. Thank you!

We had a short break here in January 2020. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice available.
However, what really made the holiday was Beatrice the concierge as she was so welcoming and helpful. She sat with us when we arrived and shared a map of Rome, giving us tips on the best places to go. She was very helpful throughout our stay and always on hand to answer any queries.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.
(I haven't commented on their covid practices as we went before the pandemic - sorry for the late review!)

We stayed here for 3 nights on a city break in Rome as a family. The rooms and staff are beautiful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious with AC , minibar and coffee facilities. The team at the front desk go out of there way to help you and the location is brilliant with all the main sites just a short walk away.
I would highly recommend staying here as not only is it a great little hotel it also offers great value for money in a fabulous location!

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Beatrice and Pasquale on the reception could not have been kinder or friendlier. The welcome was gracious and the chats throughout the stay were wonderful. They did everything they could to help. The property is within walking distance of all the sites and as it is right on the river you get a lovely walk home every time. The hotel is situated in a grand old apartment building which means that for a short while you can imagine that you are actually living this life. Even though we had the cheapest room without the view (there are some really fancy ones) the room and bathroom were lovely. The bed was so comfy. And the whole place smelled really great - it's a small thing but we noticed it. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Rome, in fact I'd be gutted if it were booked up when I wanted to come because I told them I'd be back.

Loved everything about Luxury on the River. Perfect location we were able to walk to any major attractions . it’s about 20 or 30 minute walk. It’s a clean luxury guest house with personal service. Beatrice was welcoming and knowledgeable. My family was so happy. I chose this place instead of a hotel. We had the junior suite loft. Smells so good and clean. the air-conditioning works excellent. It is not a 24/7 hotel once you understand this you appreciate everything about it.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Luxury on the River for two nights. It was a great stay.
First thing to mention is that Luxury on the River is located on a couple of floors in a building which houses other tenants. So when you arrive, don't look for a typical hotel entrance. Once in the building, you take the vintage elevator up with your bags, or walk up the 2 flights.
Check in was smooth and easy, since we had sent our passports ahead of time. Beatrice was super helpful with a city map and directional help.
The room we stayed in was split level and very clean. The bed was comfortable and bathroom large and spacious.
The location of the hotel is great. One way is a twenty five minute walk to Vatican City, the other a fifteen minute walk to the Spanish Steps.
Simona and Beatrice were awesome and willing to help with anything we needed. One example - my daughter was sleeping on a fold-away bed, and the bar underneath was very uncomfortable. We asked if they could do anything about that, and they assured us they would take care of it. That night, we returned, exhausted from a day roaming Rome, and there was another mattress on top of her bed which made it much more comfortable!
I highly recommend staying at the Luxury on the River!
Lastly, if you're a fan of the show Friends, be sure to test Beatrice with your Friends trivia!

Very Nice place right on the Tevere .
The Hotel is within walking distance of most attractions
we had 2 rooms. Both were different, both large, and both very comfortable
Great bathrooms.
Staff is courteous and extremely polite and helpful.

Dear Guest,
there are several ways to get to us from Termini station:
- A normal taxi usually charges around 15€
- The metro A (the red one) from Termini stops in Flaminio, just 10 minutes from us and it costs 1,50€
- The same price applies for the other public transports, the bus 70 will take you just 5 min from us
There is a coach line 6 euro that is a little walk from the hotel if you contact the hotel they can give you details
