Wonderful individual, quirky room and picturesque setting. Really comfortable bed and great facilities. Air conditioning in the room, kept it to a perfect temperature throughout our stay. Perfect location for exploring Rome…we will be back!

I stayed here in 2019 and booked it through Hotels.com. Their instructions clearly mentioned I should contact them at least 24 hrs prior to check in but I missed that email. I realized it only after reaching there. It was a very old building that looked nothing like a hotel. It had a huge door that was locked and there was noone there. I was traveling solo and it was my last night in Italy. I started getting pretty nervous. Then I checked my email and voila, even though I had not contacted them, they had left me a very detailed email with all the instructions and access code. What a relief it was! I was not too excited though even after that because I was still very apprehensive about my room by looking at the condition of the building. *****************DRUMROLL***************************** But once I opened the door of their reception, what a great surprise it was! Everything here, the room, bathroom etc. were very modern and decorated so tastefully. I would have never imagined such a state of the art setup would exist inside such a building. I called the manager also after finally checking in and she was so nice and helpful. So, great place to stay and excellent customer service!

We had a short break here in January 2020. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice available. However, what really made the holiday was Beatrice the concierge as she was so welcoming and helpful. She sat with us when we arrived and shared a map of Rome, giving us tips on the best places to go. She was very helpful throughout our stay and always on hand to answer any queries. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it. (I haven't commented on their covid practices as we went before the pandemic - sorry for the late review!)

Just returned from a 4 night stay here and absolutely loved it. From the moment that we arrived, Beatrice was wonderfully welcoming and extremely helpful. She sat us down and gave us advice about places to visit and good places to eat. She also helped us to book our skip the line tickets for the major attractions, which saved us money compared to prices quoted by secondary travel agencies. Our room was lovely and the jacuzzi bath was very welcome after a long day sightseeing. The room was cleaned every day and was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was pleasant and fresh coffee was served by a very friendly and efficient waiter. Five days was not enough to see all that we wanted to see so we would love to return to Rome and would definitely look to book here again.

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights whilst we ventured around Rome for the first time. The manager, Beatrice, was absolutely lovely and ever so friendly and helpful! Upon arrival, she made us both feel so welcome. She gave us a map and highlighted areas of particular interest we definitely should go to and a list of restaurants she recommended (and they were amazing recommendations!) with some offering a discount for staying at the hotel. The room was beautiful, immaculate and clean. The hotel in general was modern and clearly a lot of thought and detail has gone into its design! The room was serviced every day and tea/coffee refilled in the room. The hotel is in a perfect location as well just next to the River Tiber and only a short walk away from the heart of the city and its sites. Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10.30am, with a selection of meats, fruit, cereal, pastries and toast etc. We were offered a cappuccino/espresso every morning when arriving for breakfast, but there are also a small selection of teas available (Twinings English Breakfast - winner!). If you ever needed any assistance, Beatrice was there until the late afternoon to help with anything. She even booked us a table at one of her recommended restaurants which was ever so helpful for the non-fluent Italians! If we ever stayed in Rome again, we would without a doubt, stay here and recommend the hotel to everyone! Thank you Beatrice and the team for a lovely stay! Stacey & James

I stayed in this hotel for my birthday weekend. Pleasantly surprised by the commitment of staff to ensure my stay was great. Laziness on my part forgot to read the fine print about check-in hours, but Beatrice made sure to send detailed instructions. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FINE PRINT FOR CHECK-IN!!!! Loved the retro elevator after a long journey. Morning staff is very accommodating and serves a tasty morning breakfast. Not too far from grocery stores and public transportation. If you are ok with walking or riding the bus, this location is extremely convenient. I was a solo traveler, so things worked out nicely for me. Good wifi, and the front desk may have electrical plug adapters if you need one. The room I stayed in isn’t in the photo stream, but it was cozy. Will definitely stay at this property if I return to Rome. Would recommend this property without hesitation.

Myself and my wife stayed here for a long weekend for my wife’s birthday. We upgraded to the room with the jetted tub which was well worth it. The room was beautiful and romantic. Very clean and the staff cleaned our room everyday. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location. From all the bars and restaurants behind the hotel to crossing the bridge across the road which then leads you on a 10 minute walk to all the amazing sites and prime attractions of rome to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain etc. The staff was lovely to. Especially Beatrice the hotel manager who was fantastic on communication with emails etc before we went as I had many of questions about Rome as I had never been there before. She even helped book our taxis to and from the airports on her day off and went out of her way to sit with us and draw on a map all the top locations to go which helped us massively. We will definitely be going back to the hotel as we haven’t been able to stop talking about what a truely amazing time we had. Thanks again to Beatrice and luxury on the river hotel.

We arrived at around 3 on Sunday Afternoon . Airport transfer man had trouble locating then just dropped us on sidewalk. We had difficulty getting inside but eventually found where we had to be. Man on reception was a little confused and asked us when we had booked causing us to panic but then located our paperwork so all was ok. Room was small but comfortable was bit disappointed with the view which was just a load of dirty buildings no view of River. Met Beatrice next morning and she was wonderful and had lots in common with my Daughter. Breakfast was lovely service was excellent. Would definitely stay again we had a fantastic stay in Rome Thank you.
