Rome River Inn is perfectly well located, walking distance to all main attractions. The room is very nice and clean, very comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent. The staff is very, very helpful and most important, very nice. Kelly gave us welcome and showed us how to get to the main places and suggested restaurants to eat. Really recommend this place,... We stayed here on one of our many stops on honeymoon and it was honestly one of the highlights of the trip for me. Manuel - the awesomely legendary concierge was a massive help to us. He's full of local, off-the-beaten-track places to go eat and things to see. He was incredibly helpful when we arrived as well, since we... More

Kelly welcomed us very warmly with great suggestions of nearby places to eat and shop, which she marked on a map. Then she showed our room, which was exactly the same as it was in the pictures, it had two windows over looking the Tiber River and tons of natural light. We also received a little bottle of champagne as... More

The best things about this hotel are the friendly staff and the great location! It is a bit basic, but also priced accordingly. Most importantly it was clean and well kept. It is a little difficult to locate though as there is no signage and the building also houses apartments. Once you find it, the rest is good.

The location was perfect - right in the middle of everything - 15 minutes to the Vatican and 10 to Piazza Navona on foot. The service was helpful and friendly upon arrival. The room itself had more of a 'student' budget feel to it, which was disappointing, but I should have known better considering the lower price. My husband thought... More

We stayed here for three nights while sightseeing around Rome. Location is excellent (Vatican 15 minute walk, Colosseum 25 minute walk) and is right by the river which made for a lovely walk in the evening. Kelly on reception was so helpful and friendly giving us a map and lots of recommendations for restaurants and bars. Nothing was too much... More

Stayed here with my husband and 2 teens (19 and 15). The rooms are very clean and modern. The kids had their own room and we felt safe doing so. The service is great and very helpful. We had a very early departure time our last day and they arranged breakfast in our room the night before so we could... More

This was the last hotel we stayed at in Italy, so I splurged a little on getting this hotel room that had a jacuzzi bath. That feature was nice and the room was very spacious, but there were some definite disappointments. The free wifi signal was very poor and the TV signal also never worked. The location of the hotel... More
