This Bed & Breakfast (however we did not take the breakfast, since it is in a bar downstairs and not served inside the B&B itself), is located in a residential area in the center of Rome. 10 minutes walking distance from metro station Barberini, 15 minutes by foot from Termini, but there are a lot of buses passing by and... Gialel B&B We spent two spent two nights at this budget accommodation in the centre of Rome. It is budget, we paid three times as much for a four star hotel we moved to at the end of our stay. We weren’t driven out of Gialel, we moved because we were attending a party at the four star hotel and... More

The B&B was easy to find and in a good location of the city, pretty close to lots of major sights. The building was clean and nice as were the rooms. We were only there for 2 nights for which this B&B served its purpose fine but there were some things we didn't love about it. The beds were ok... More

This family operated accommodation with free wifi is close to the heart of Rome and often has on-street parking readily available. The staff are friendly and very accommodating and as often is the case in all Italian cities, bars (cafes) are readily available with one within a few metres walking distance of the front door where the staff are too... We decided that this was going to be a very cheap holiday so decided not to go for the more expensive option but a family run B&B. I have to say that this is the most basic room that I have stayed in with a room very small TV and bathroom with a shower and no view. This is a... More

Could do with a bit more hot water in the shower, but otherwise everything was fine. Good location for walking to key places. Giving a detailed street map when booking would make it easier to find in the dark!

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Rome. We were met by a young lady who was attached to her mobile phone. The lift at least worked (very very small so be warned). The room we were given was very basic , on the 4th floor and reminded me of student digs. I presume that the space used to be... More

Just back from two days in Rome with my son, 9, and we stayed in this lovely, friendly, family-run B&B in the centre of Rome. Convenient for public transport and near restaurants, shops and a beautiful park which houses the Borghese museum and a little boating lake. Accommodation is basic but very clean and efficient. Breakfast is by voucher at... More

Spent 3 nights at this B & B??? unfortunately quite disappointing as no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. Fridge described as having a mini bar, not only was the fridge switched off but also empty. Also no glasses of any kind, we had to go out and buy some plastic cups. The nearest café was at the end of the... More

There's no air conditioning, so in summer it might be difficult to sleep some days. Also, the breakfest doesn't have many options, but these are the only cons. The staff is absolutely amazing, helpful, kind, a typical sweet and friendly italian family. My train to Rome delayed several hours and the staff girl called me and even waited for me... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
