Modest hotel, very clean with courteous & friendly staff. Centrally located near Roma Termini, just 10 min. walk. Plenty of eateries in the vicinity and cheap shopping too. Breakfast is simple but served fresh, lovely croissants!

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Resturants close by, train terminal just a couple of blocks. Great starting point for a day's activities. Local atmosphere, guests from around the world.Plaza with shops and food a couple of blocks away. Main attractions are not really close by. But the train is very convenient. Some sightseeing packages pick you up but do not...

-It is not even close to the train station Termini -an employee at breakfast let you serve yourself, with just a croissant, only one ! -Breakfast is trivial (toasts slices of ham 3 cheap and some cheese cut so thin that you could take the wind, made coffee on demand "in the back" of the same employee ' orange juice...

We have booked this hotel just for one night. As per booking confirmation we will have to pay when staying at the hotel. After 2 days hotel has blocked the amount of booking on my bank card, but despite of this they have sent me email that my card was rejected. I have sent them PrintScreen from my bank account...

We stayed at this hotel because our other hotel was overbooked for the night. This hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood and did not feel clean (there were WHITE stains on our comforter). They also took advantage of our situation and overcharged us for our stay. On the plus side, the office attendants were very nice and helpful!

I've been in a few hotels in Rome always on a budget. For a three stars hotel this is one of the best ones I've ever been; but when I compare it with other 3 star hotels in other countries, it has a low quality. I was in room 102. The shower has very low water pressure and it's not...

We stayed in this Hotel when we were in Rome in 2013. That was a great experience so we decided to stay here again. We were not disappointed. The hotel is clean, comfortable and certainly a good value. We wanted to be close to Roma Termini and this is just a few blocks away. The room was very clean and...

We were staying here (my father and me) for 3 nights in May 2015. The hotel was fine, not onthe best location, but only for a 5-8 min walk from the central terminal, Termini. It was easy to catch any public transportation solution to get our destination. All the most interesting monumets and memories are close to hotel, or easy...

It was our first trip to Rome, and we wanted to see all the sightseeings of Rome. The hotel is situated near Termini station, about 10 minutes walk. The destination between hotel and the station isn't the most comfortable. There are a lot of poor people, who are sleeping on the streets and you don't feel safe while passing the...

Like the other reviews, in a dodgy part of Rome, homeless people and beggers all around the station area. Hotel meets the basic requirements - a place to sleep, shower etc, plus friendly staff. No in room tea or coffee facilities and no English channels on the tv - no news. I would stay here again but only if I...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
