loved staying at Relais Badoer it was central for everything you want to do in Rome so we didnt have to get any buses. Hotel arranged taxi for us from the airport which was 50 euros. The only thing I would suggest is that you take a travel kettle along with you as there isnt one in the room. Hotel...

An amazing stay at Relais & Wellness Badoer, Rome. We travelled to Rome as it was my partner's birthday on the 16th Jan, to say she was happy (and still is) is an understatement! From first arrival and the wonderful greeting from Joshua, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. A choice of superb, clean, modern and well-appointed rooms, a...

The location of the hotel is hard to beat. Within walking distance of all the major sites. The service at the hotel is amazing. A friend and I were sharing one of the rooms but as it was a bit small for two people we asked if there were any other rooms available that were a little bigger. Sure enough...

Stayed at Relais Badoer for 4 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. We were thrilled to find we had a door with direct access to the terrace and hot tubs, which meant we spent every evening in the tub looking down over the streets of Rome with a glass of wine. The breakfast on the terrace is an absolute joy,...

We loved this little B&B. Soaking in one of the jacuzzis on the roof after a day of sightseeing was delightful. We were upgraded and had a cute little balcony. The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in but fine for a couple of nights and well appointed. From the roof you can see where Caesar was murdered....

Stayed three nights for our wedding anniversary. Loved the hotel. Staff were super helpful. Fantastic location. Great free breakfast. Location was fab and we walked to most places like the Trevino fountain, pantheon and the colosseum. Fantastic pizza place downstairs.

Excellent service with breakfast. Great location near Pantheon. Not cheap, but worth every dollar. We stayed in the penthouse which gave personal access to rooftop with TWO jacuzzi! Helpful staff have good advice on restaurants and sights. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great located hotel, the staff are absolutely delightful and bend over backwards to help so it is difficult to write this review, however I believe people need to know some of the difficulties relating to this hotel. If you do not want a shower in the main room (no privacy) you will need to tell the hotel...

They reached out to us to schedule a driver before our arrival. The driver was prompt and professional (50 euros from Fiumicino). We arrived early in the morning after our international flight. It's a bit of a climb if you choose to take the stairs. The elevator is functional, even though it looks old. Once we located the entrance there...

My husband and I spent 3 nights here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed!! Amazing location, we literally walked to everything, we didn't take cabs anywhere! Jolwyn and the team couldn't do enough to help us with our bookings for the sights and giving advice on where to eat. The rooftop jacuzzis were fantastic after...

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.

“There are only about 5 rooms and I think all are good. One is a little small and if there is no one else there they will put you in one of the larger ones. We stayed one night in the smaller room but they moved us into a larger one when it was available. (their suggestion not ours) which we appreciated. There is a larger one upstairs which accommodates families I think.”
