Spent a long weekend here. The hotel is very central just behind Capitol hill. The interior is modern and stylish. The room was spacious and equipped with high quality furnishing including a Sony flat screen. The bathroom also very clean with decent fittings. Good stay and recommendable.

The Hotel is well-situated, near the colosseum. We were greeted by the lovely Yulia, who'd been the brightest spot on the hotel's staff, and were immediately upgraded to a spacious room with a nice view (though on a loud street...). The room had nice amenities such as bathrobes and (way tiny) slippers, ample towels, nice closet space (wouldn't mind some...

Booked this hotel after the great reviews online and it did not disappoint. The check in was efficient and friendly- we dropped our bags off early and they were moved into our room for when we arrived back. The room was clean and massive, lots of room for hanging up stuff. The bathroom was huge and the free amenities were...

Great location but very loud. We were in the rear side of the hotel and still were disturbed by the traffic on a VERY busy road. Also, there must've been construction in the room next door to us. Sweet staff and decent breakfast.

Beautiful hotel! We liked absolutely everything! The location was excellent, close to the promenade, near the Pantheon and the Colosseum, all attractions within walking distance. Hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean. Breakfast was delicious and varied, delicious cappuccino. I want this review to thank the hotel staff for the wonderful time we spent at the hotel

We stayed at the 47 a few years ago--the hotel is in an excellent location, the decoration is modern and the rooms and very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom we had was beautiful. Service is impeccable. 100% recommended.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Rome with work. Whilst the Rome was a bit on the small side it had everything one needed. Situated in a great location, the staff were really helpful too. Would recommend the rooftop bar.

We stayed at Hotel 47 with a group of 31 for an Alumni trip to Rome. The rooms were spacious, very well appointed and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this Hotel. We walked to the Jewish Ghetto for dinner and also to the Spanish Steps for fabulous shopping. Cab stands are available for those who don't...

Perfectly placed to get to most popular attractions in Rome. Breakfast good and service from staff very good. Clean room and decent size. Only down side is parking around here but that's an issue with the place not the hotel. Definitely recommend.

Staying in Aventine

Neighborhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighborhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
