I wasn't the biggest fan of this hotel because it was far from everything when it came to food. Well the only close place for food was across the Ponte Palatino bridge but its a bit ghetto. We visited during the day and the night and it is more of a college scene during the night with wild drunken students....

Spent my girlfriends 30th birthday here. Service and settings are perfect. Great rooms in the middle of my favorite area in Rome. Will stay here next time I go to Rome. Walking distance to most of the must see sights in Rome. Beautiful and big balcony on the 5th floor rooms.

This hotel was wonderful. It is close to the Jewish Ghetto which was very important to us. The hotel is maintained beautifully. It is immaculate and constantly tended to by staff. The staff is incredible, meeting every one of our needs and doing it always with a smile. The breakfast area was well tended to. This hotel was one of...

Our stay at Hotel 47 was wonderful! Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our every need. Rooms were very nice and roomy. The bar was cozy and quaint, and breakfast was delicious. We didn't make time to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked wonderful! Location couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again

The staff at the hotel is wonderful. They are warm and welcoming and are so helpful. We were at the end of a 3 week trip and they understood our need to be low-key and pampered. The hotel is in a wonderful location for walking to much of Rome, especially to find the more neighborhood restaurants. The room was wonderful,...

I've stayed at this hotel a few times on trips to Rome. It is a boutique hotel with good service, lovely courtyard and good food. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great- walking distance to nearly everything. Only suggestions would be to refresh paint in rooms- walls getting a little beat up especially in bathroom- and to offer...

This hotel has everything going for it. Nice place, great staff, clean and the best location ever. Stay here and you can walk to all the sites. The breakfast is included and better than most places where you buy breakfast. The restaurant on the roof is quite good and the staff there are friendly as well. Last night we were...

Ultra modern and omens good when we were arrived and were allocated a well appointed room on the top floor on quiet side with a balcony too. We then found that the phone, television and safe didn't work. All were fixed but later we discovered the heating didn't work either. Although assured that this was corrected it was so cold...

Dear guest, First of all, let me apologize for all the inconvenience you had during your stay. I went to your room personally and made sure that safe, telephone and tv were fixed, and as you stated yourself, it was all fixed right away. When you were not happy with the temperature in your room, that also was fixed but...

Staying in Aventine

Neighborhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighborhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
