The hot water didn't work, the elevator didn't work, the breakfast sucked and english may have been a fifth language. The reason for 1 star was the location. There are many nice looking hotels in just as good of a location, there have been many pickpockets near this hotel

It's very extremely Dirty room. Not 3star hotel. You should stay another hotel. It's convenience neat station. But there is no good reason to choose this hotel. I had made two night stay but I changed hotel after one night stay.

Hotel Giorgi surprised us! Frankly we had chosen this hotel because of our short stay, price (got it for around £60 per night) and because we wanted to stay closer to the Train station. As with most properties closer to Stations/we did not expect much from it. However we were pleasantly surprised to find spacious (two rooms with separate TVs,...

The hotel was great. The staff was very polite. The room was exactly what we expected to see. The room and the bed were both big enough. The most important thing is that every day the sheets and the towels were changed.

The location of the place is simply great. Near to TERMINI station. Traditional looking hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfy. Speedy wifi. This hotel made my stay in Rome so comfortable. Highly recommended.

I originally held back because i thought this was a family business...but the treatment was so awful i have to speak out and warn others. Starters...English is at a minimal level. Hard to explain that our aircon wasnt working. But the response about our aircon issues from the older gentleman at front desk....was a disgrace. Shrugging....mumbling in Italian about us...walks...

Our experience at Hotel Giorgi was not good at all. We picked it because it was close to the train station and just needed a place to stay for one night before heading to the airport. Believe me when I say the pictures on this site make it look much better than it really is. We were shocked. The room...

We stayed a couple of nights while visiting Rome, the hotel has a good location, close to the trains, buses and tubes. The hotel is clean, we asked for gluten free breakfast and that wasn't a problem at all. Only negative are: the WIFI didn't work in our room, but it worked by the bar, the bar was more a...

The hotels location was very good a short walk from Roma termini train station and a large bus stop area including the sight seeing buses. Also near a large supermarket which was super handy to grab snacks and water. Mini bar and safe with a clean bathroom. Room is old school and you can tell it has been around for...

Stayed here in January and had an amazing experience which is why i've been trying to review it for a while now but couldn't find it on TripAdvisor - i was looking for Hotel Giorgina. Its quite basic but in Rome, who spends time in a hotel room anyway? You couldn't get a better location - its literally a 5...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
