I and mt sister stayed three days on this hotel and everythink was ok. But there was noisy outside the room at night and the breakfast is limited. The staff are very polite, but there is a 3€ tax per night per person that I didn't know, it's better if the website exposes it by a better way. The room... More

The room was okaish, the sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean and it was properly functioning. The room was cleaned everyday by the staff. For those money, this hotel does its job. You can't expect very much from it. It has 2 stars after all. Great area, safe (a lot of police on the streets) and the staff was... More

To be honest, we did not paid very much to stay here. We just needed a place to sleep and a good location. Location is the only good think at this hotel, is near the center, but the rooms are awful. The carpet was dirty, the walls were dirty too, only the bed was clean. The bathroom is small and... More

We stayed February 15th - 19th. Great location, near the station and within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. The staff are helpful and reception is open 24 hours. There is free wifi in the reception area where there are 2 large sofas to sit on. Breakfast was included, this was bread rolls & packets of French toast with... More

It was a nice stay, breakfast was bread with Jam and Butter, which is ok, attention and service was amazing by one of the girls who spoke spanish, very very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bathroom. But if you only look of a place to sleep (like me) it's ok.

Plus points: -Staff were excellent -Location was ideal -Beds were clean -Done exactly what we needed, budget hotel just to put your head down at night -Breakfast was perfectly adequate Bad points: -Walls of room were filthy, looked like someone had shot themselves, to be honest a dead body would have cheered the place up a bit -Toilet was very... It is a budget hotel, so don`t expect anything other than a bed, bathroom etc, but you get what you pay for. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good as well. Best of all is its location, it is close to everything.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
