Pros: Clean room, close location to the metro. Good service, ok breakfast. Nice covered outdoor patio to sit in and eat or relax in. Cons: Tiny room. Bathtub has a handheld shower wand that only reaches chest high, so you cannot really take a shower. You have to sit down in the tub to rinse yourself off. Two of the...

Weary of location near terminus station. But felt quite safe. Staff very helpful and friendly. Small breakfast room, good selection. Nice outdoor terrace area to relax after long day. Good location to restaraunts and public transportation. Rooms are European, on the small side. Shower surprisingly small, but hotwater and pressure was good. Beds very firm, but not uncomfortable. A very small breakfast room. No slippers in the room. When the lift approches 5 floor it shakes like an earthquake. Staff is trying their best. Clean but very small rooms. Close to very big train station but it is not in the center. Thin walls.

This was my second visit in Rome. I could not find an accommodation in the hotel I stayed last time. So I was searching for a hotel which is close to the station and is a nice place to stay. Eventually I found this 3-star hotel with impressive ratings and booked my stay for one night with my wife. Based...

We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. Myself and two friends stayed here for six nights. When we arrived the receptionist was immediately so so helpful. She gave us a map that showed where the hotel was and told us how to get to every attraction in the city, as well as how the train worked and which...

The location of the Windrose Hotel is one of its best features. A 3 minute walk from Termini Station, it's a great starting point for seeing Rome, or just making a stopover. In 10 minutes' walk, you can find yourself at the center of tourism, or you could find a nice restaurant off Via Nazionale, on the way to the...

The room (116) had a double and two singles. Quite spacious for four people. It was a bit dark, being at the back of the property and the window looking at a covered area at the back (used as a sitting area in the summer). It was clean and towels were changed every day. The bathroom was spacious, but the...

Excellent Service at Breakfast, The receptionist were good, no over the top just polite enough. The wifi service did not get to our room which was on the corner, so we have to go downstair or be sitting in a corridor with the laptop. Rooms were clean, and bathroom small.

Hotel rooms are small and uncomfortable! The bathroom was tiny toilet, bidet, sink and shower in the smallest bathroom. I'm 6ft 1 and to shower I had to step out the shower to clean my self then jump back in. Bring a hair dryer as it pretty much a cheap air blower attached to the wall that turns off if...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
