When you get over the fact that there will be numerous attempts to hustle you and mug you in some form, you can concentrate on taking in the many sights and experiences of Rome. Don't even make eye contact to the countless hordes that try to sell you some crap and worse still the ones that pretend to give you...

We wanted to be very near the Roman Forum and location of hotel and room were fine for what we needed. Room was clean and basic. Breakfast was adequate. Hotel is on a busy street in a commercial area and it was a bit noisy outside.

Nice small hotel that is well situated. We walked most everywhere. Very close to the Coliseum and Forum. The street it faces is very touristy, but just a block away are some nice restaurants. Staff is mostly friendly, English speaking. The buffet style breakfast is enough, not extravagant.

We stayed at this Hotel/B&B and we are so pleased that we did. The room we had was GAIA . It had a massive bed with a small sofa type bed which we just used during the day for resting. There is no kettle so if you like an early morning cup of tea/coffee be sure to take one. A...

This hotel is wonderfully located: a couple of minutes' walk from Foro Romano and the Colosseum, has easy access to the metro network, and an abundance of restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious with basic yet neat amenities. The receptionist, Dimitri, is extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is modest but that's way more than most hotels in Rome offer. The...

We had to book this hotel when Colosseo Relais cancelled our reservation less than 24 hours before we were to arrive in Rome. Through some kind of error, we accidentally booked 2 rooms (long story -- also never use Expdedia!). We tried to explain upon arrival that we only needed one room, but the manager gouged us for 2 over-priced...

Can't beat the location! Easy walk to Roman Forum and Colosseum (nearby Colosseum Metro stop means easy access to most of the city). Staff was very friendly and helpful! Lots of delicious restaurants and gelato around. Room was comfortable.
