We (three of us) stayed there for four days on two occasions "bookending" a two week vacation to Italy and France. our rooms were small and simple but very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was welcome; remember to close the windows so it works! (The windows are nicely soundproof). Location is excellent if visiting the Vatican; also close to the... More

The location is situated in a good area, at a few minutes from Vatican and from Metro. The building is quite old style with marble and wood. The stuff is very kind and ready to help. We didn't enjoy, though, the fact that sometimes there was a bad smell in the bathroom. We had to buy a freshener so that... More

This hotel is situated close (7 mins walk) to the Ottavino Metro. In a residential area, off-season it is quiet and very safe to walk from the Metro or the Vatican area. Google earth will show the area and using the 'Lemongrass Gelato' shop, I was able to locate it easily and pulled a suitcase. I didn't see any available... More

We were two adults and a 7-year old boy in a three bed-room for 4 nights and we enjoyed much our stay. The hotel was clean and quite, the stuff friendly and for breakfast there is the the great bar Alfredo e Lia on the other side of the road or the little more modern bistro Luma near by. As... More

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also near the Vatican and a short walk from the subway. The hotel was also pretty close to shopping and very good restaurants.

We were travelling with a little child so the priority was to find a quiet and peaceful hotel. SanPietrino was just what we wanted and with a reasonable price. Hotel is located in Prati, which is a clean and apparently a safe neigborhood compared to many other parts of town. Close proximity to Vatican is a big plus and metro... More

We have been here for 4 nights, the room is very small but enough for me and my husband since we usually spend more time somewhere out than at the hotel. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, it doesn't matter since just across the street there is a small bistro where you can find nice panini or some other pastry for... More

Hotel San Pietrino was clean BUT the two young ladies who spoke excellent english were NOT one bit friendly. I felt as if we were unwelcomed relatives for the three nights we were there. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is beautifully decorated with terracotta floors and tasteful wood furniture. The extras such as TV/DVD/ADSL - are unusual for a place in this category. Housed in a 19th-century palazzo, it's a simple and cosy place, run by young and service-oriented staff providing 24/7 full support to the guests. No breakfast is provided - no great loss as it's surrounded by convenient cafes and restaurants. Some guides consider it the best value for money in Rome. ... more   less

“Perhaps if you speak italian, you will like the hotel It was noisy at night, since the ac system must have been off for the season, so we had the windows opened. I know I seem like a complainer, as I read one bad review previous to our visit, but I feel that was the most honest. in the reviews that I read on your forum”
