Clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Changed beds daily. Within wallking distance of many attractions. Stayed a week with my wife. Staff very freindly and helpful. Went out of their way to help. Continental breakfast was included and was quite satisfactory, although selection was limited. Would definitely return.

September 03. We stayed at the Domus Romana for 5 nights and there were 10 of us, one a double amputee in a chair. This hotel worked well for him. There are no steps from the street, there is a lift and the rooms were a huge surprise, very palatial even by American standards. Our room had a king bed... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
