Hi ! We are a couple that travel a lot around the world. From Hostels to hotels. First of they charge us 100 euros a night Extremely expensive for the value of the bedroom. Location OK! Bedroom had no private bathroom (we booked room with privet bath room ). Instead the bathroom is outside in the living room "lobby" 5m2...

The location of the Giampy is fantastic, being just a few minutes walk from Rome Termini station. This review is going to be a bit mixed as there were bits that could be improved and bits that were fantastic, but just to say we would go back there and stay again. That should tell you we were happy. Good Bits;...

We returned to this guest house, this time with children aged 12 and 10. Andrea was once again an excellent host, meeting and greeting us despite last minute changes to arrival times. This B & B is very convenient as the central train station (Termini) is only five minutes walks away and so all the sites are easily accessible to...

We stayed in a family room with 2 single beds and a fold out sofa bed. The 2 single beds were fine but the sofa bed felt like an elephant had been using it as a trampoline the night before. It was lumpy, had no support and sagged in the middle. Sleeping on the floor would have been comfier. We...

Our room should be ready at twelve. We were a bit early and had to wait for someone to come to the b&b to let us in. Our room wasn't cleaned yet, we were told the cleaning lady was late. We waited till 1.30 in the 'reception' for our room to be ready, and then just left 'cause we were...

What a lovely surprise it was to arrive at this 2* hotel and be greeted by Andrea the owner. Although initially a little hard to spot from the outside if you are not familiar with Italian address systems, I called the office (I had the number emailed to me in a welcome email before departure) and they directed me to...

We stayed at Giampy for four nights during our trip to rome. The location is amazing if coming or going from the train station as it is literally two minutes away. It's also well within walking distance of the colosseum and near a subway for seeing more distant attractions such as the vatican or the Spanish steps. It took us...

We booked Giampy's via Cross Pollinate just 5 days before we stayed there. We were lucky to find two nights available in August, which we needed before we went on a cruise. The communication was great, we knew exactly how to get there when we landed at FCO, and navigated around cheaply and easily the two days we were in...

We thoroughly enjoyed our five nights at Giampy! Our room was clean, tidy and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast at Giampy was ideal, consisting of breads, cakes and yoghurt as well as tea (english breakfast and early grey) coffee and cappuccino. The location of the B&B is ideal, situated a two minute walk to Termini...

We really enjoyed our stay in this little B & B. It is very well located, within 5 minutes walk of the central Rome Terminus and within easy reach of the main attractions either on foot, or by the easy to use Metro. Andreas was extremely helpful and welcoming. There was a bit of a mix up with our arrival...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
